No, absolutely gluten free. I am SEVERELY gluten intolerant to even mildly cross contaminated products. I mix this in smoothies & have ingested daily for the past 6 months with no problems whatsoever. Sorry, the responder who mentioned Celiac disease does not understand that it is barley SEED that contains gluten. Barley GRASS does not, nor is this product cross-contaminated in the factory. I know because I can't even take a whiff of pasta steam without reacting badly (not a joke). This product is gluten free, and amazing!

Q: How long did it take for this stuff to work? When did you start noticing a difference?

I noticed a difference with my energy right away - that was even on half of the dosage recommended. I am taking the recommended amount now and really love it. I have enough energy throughout the day too but it's not like caffeine where you feel a rush or jittery you just feel rested and energetic. My mom takes it as well and has the same results. I hope this helps!

No, it doesn't need to be refrigerated, although keeping it in a cool dark space is helpful.

Expensive but High Quality

First, this stuff is EXPENSIVE. Let's just call it what it is. But I ordered it because it was recommended by Medical Medium and wanted to try it for my son. It's a pretty small bag, but it has lasted us over a month and it's still over half full. We use a teaspoon a day. I've noticed my son's face is clearer and he's not getting cystic acne. We're not taking it for that, but it's seemed to help so wanted to note that. I can't see what it is doing internally, but we both feel good and possibly more energy.My bag ripped upon opening, so that's annoying, but it does reseal and it seems to be staying fresh. The powder if fine and it taste like grass to me.Overall, since it is having a positive effect on my son's skin, I'm hopeful that it's doing good inside as well. I will order again.

Great Juice!

Vimergy Barleygrass Juice Extract Powder has a pleasant flavor even mixed with water. Have been using it with Spirulina (alternating days) and pure celery juice every day. Am getting back on track, feeling like my clear-headed self and have more stamina. Will get back to you in another week or two. Only received it on Tuesday late in the day, and this is Friday. So have taken it twice: (Wed and Fri). I will order from Vimergy again.
