Veterinus Derma GeL ensures: a moist environment, soothing effect and a protective layer (no secondary dressing or bandage required). ||| DIRECTIONS: Daily cleanse affected area with warm water or a saline solution only. Apply a thick layer of gel (extending application to the surrounding area) two to three times a day or as needed. | USES: Veterinus Derma GeL is useful for: Large areas, deep open wounds, accidental or surgical (either under a bandage or uncovered). Ideal when the location of the wound doesn't allow suturing or bandaging. Safe to use during competition, gestation, when licked. Review: This seemed to work better than the prescription gel for our dogs hot spot and had the hair growing back quick. Awesome stuff to have on hand. Review: My cat has had a sore in the crease of her leg for almost a week (She overgrooms normally but recently lost her companion so it’s gotten worse and she caused a sore) - we’d tried surgical vests which unfortunately only just didn’t cover it, tried cutting a baby grow to wear as pants (lengths you go to) and the cone of shame but nothing worked for her to leave it alone! The vet couldn’t do too much for the positioning of it and her anxiety meant that she would get stressed with the cone on. I ordered this as a last resort as didn’t know what to try - I was quite dubious especially as it was £31 to get it for next day delivery (have to order minimum of 2 tubes). Honestly, it’s worked like a miracle cure! The image on the right was taken on Sunday morning before the gel arrived (started using it at 2pm on Sunday) and image on the left was taken Tuesday morning so you can see the improvement in just 2 days. We have used it twice a day straight after treating it with salt and water. It’s safe for her to lick although she doesn’t like the taste so she’s left it alone which is a bonus. It has a slight herbal smell but you and the cat don’t notice it unless you smell the tube! It’s worth every penny and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family!
