Allegro Tea, Organic Decaf Green Tea Bags, 20 ct

I've never had this brand before. It is very good tea; smooth, relaxing, and especially great before bed on a cold winter night.

Surprisingly good tea! Feels expensive though it isn't. Nice mellow flavor, especially for a green tea. I couldn't take the lifeless cheap stuff at TJs anymore, and this was a worthwhile upgrade that only cost pennies. Well done, Allegro!

Updated Review: I really hadn’t touched this tea in a while because I wasn’t a fan of it. Cut to about two months later and I’m battling sinuses issues, nasal drip, and an irritated throat. I pulled this tea out and added some lemon and mango flavored ginger candies to help the flavor. It helped my soothe my throat and I’m down to my last few teabags. There’s nothing like a good hot tea when you’re sick. Another little trick I discovered thanks to a summer drink trend in China was steeping the tea in Sprite. It definitely helped me get that citrus taste I was looking for in the first place. **Original** I love green tea but had to cut back on caffeine recently for health reasons. This tea kept popping up so I finally gave it a try. It’s a very smooth, light green tea flavor. However, the lemon flavor is dull to me. I was expecting a brighter lemon note like mentioned in the description. Even other reviewers said similar things, but the lemon taste is very muted in my opinion. I’d prefer a stronger citrus flavor so I probably won’t order this again.

This tea is flavorful and smells wonderful.You do not need to add sugar or milk its unique flavor stands on its own. And I love the fact that doesn’t have any caffeine. It’s my go to herbal tea when I want to relax. Especially if I wake up in the middle of the night, and I have a hard time getting back to sleep, a little bit of warm, herbal tea seems to do the trick.

This has a wonderful flavor, and I love the brand.

I'm new to decaf teas, but had to make the switch to cut down on my caffeine intake. This tea does not have a strong green tea flavor. It does not taste any different than the standard Bigelow decaf teas. Definitely disappointed. My search for a good tasting decaf tea continues.

Mass produced green tea has a tendency to be bland or weak, especially the decaf variety, but this one has a very nice tangy green tea flavor. Out of all I've tried it's the best decaf brand so far. Give it a try...see what you think.
