Fits my MS 250. I do wish it had a better seal as small amounts of sawdust gets past the base. Maybe a small amount of grease would make it seal better.

My chainsaw would start and die out quickly. Put this filter on and problem solved.

Heard it's hard to find the proper air filter for the ms250 unless you go to a stihl shop but this one fits perfectly and works like new

I went to several Stihl dealerships and called about a dozen others to find a new air filter for my 35 year old Stihl 025. No one had one. I was told it is no longer manufactured or available. I was very happy to find this on Amazon, as it seems that it is made with the same materials as the original filter. It use to take either 10 pulls sometimes more to start the old machine or to remove the air filter when starting up. With this new filter installed the old chainsaw fires up on the second pull every time. I would buy this product again.
