What a difference
This thing makes pasta and it's easy to do. My kitchen counter doesn't hold the pasta machine due to the setbacks under the counter that defeat the clamp. I am not Vishnu with 8 arms so I can't hold the machine, crank it, feed the pasta and guide it out. No clamp needed for the machine with the motor and it works smoothly, easily transferring from roll out to one of the cutting options. A recent national review said this and the matching pasta machine were not Rolls Royce models but were like a Camry - works every time and gets the job done reliably. I agree.

Love it!
I would order this again in a heartbeat. It is a bit louder than I expected but still love it.

Don't buy this Drive Motor it only works with 240v.
Why would anyone in the United State buy this Atlas Drive Motor with 240v and a power cord for 240v??? I can't believe Amazon would allow them to sell this unit in the U.S. I emailed the supply twice and received absolutely no response from them. I called Amazon and they said they cannot do anything about this. So I asked Amazon if they could send another unit and could the shipping Dept. please check to see if has a 120v power supply (like what is pictured in the ad). NO SUCH LUCK! I received a second 240v unit. This is a complete mess. Now I have to ship both back.

If you have the pasta maker for this
You will never go back to hand cranking your pasta once you start using this! Made my pasta so much faster and easier. Love having 2 hands to handle the dough while processing it through the pasta maker. Worth every penny.

great accessory
I bought the Atlas pasta roller when I lived in Italy. My landlady showed me the difference between store-bought and fresh pasta, plus all the variations. In Italy everything is 220 volts, and I bought the 220v motor. Moving back to the States meant I couldn't use the 220v motor and had to hand-crank the pasta roller, which is a pain. The 120v motor is strong, but not too quiet. I don't care, I just want great pasta without the work of hand-rolling. I haven't bought pasta in 15 years, the roller and motors are indestructible. A good companion is "The Silver Spoon" cookbook, over 1000 pages, in print only in Italian for 50 years and now in English, about $32. Buon mangiare.

Great but noisy
Speeds up polymer clay rolling by orders of magnitude. Works great. But high pitch whine required ear plugs if used for more than a few seconds or minutes.

It works but.
I got what I wanted but the picture is false. It's a European power cord that come with it. If you want to use it you'll will need a European to US adapter or buy a IEC C7 2.5A 250V cord.

Ease of use
USED FOR FIRST TIME TODAY. I AM SO PLEASED. I WILL BE USING THIS FREQUENTLY IN FUTURE. DID A RECIPE OF PASTA IN LESS THAN HALF THE TIME AND IT WAS SO THIN AND TENDER. STAYED IN PLACE WITHOUT BEING ATTACHED TO COUNTER,

Fits my 180 slide Atlas pasta maker beautifully. Genuine product as described. Came with Australian plug.
