Grandson thinks this is an amazing book
My grandson really enjoyed this book. He would have like more information about the battle of Waterloo but that is ok.

Another good, quick overview in the Hourly History series.
This book provides a good, quick overview of the major events of the Napoleonic Wars, along with some thoughts on what made Napoleon such a revolutionary leader. It is a good starting point for those interested in starting to learn about this period, but very brief. As with the other books, this one lacks maps, so if you aren't familiar with European geography, you'll want to have a map handy to follow along. Overall, a good choice as a starting point.

Amazing story
Easy reading, however, since there were so many wars, sometimes it was difficult to follow. But it was amazingly summarized and written.

An introduction to the Napoleonic Wars
The Napoleonic wars and their after effects had a lasting impact on France, Europe, and the world. This short book provides a quick but fulfilling outline on the causes, involvements, and the lasting impacts.I enjoyed this book because it broke down the details of how the conflicts occurred, and how they related to the French Revolution, and also other events (particularly the Louisiana purchase in America). There is a bibliography at the end, with a wealth of additional material to consider. I recommend this for all casual historians.

Great Summary of the Napoleonic Period
The Napoleonic Wars (1803 - 1815) were a series of major conflicts between the French Empire and various European powers. Napoleon was a charismatic and brilliant military leader who won many wars early in the empire. The book summarizes the several periods of the wars, until his final defeat at Waterloo by the British. Napoleon's rule saw almost continuous war, and is proof that that endless wars cannot be good for any nation, a fact that America should learn.

Naploeon’s Wars and How He Changed the World
I thought this was an excellent summary of Napoleon’s wars and the amazing changes he brought to every phase of warfare, plus the novel societal changes he introduced, such as the Napoleonic Code. He dreamt of a unified Europe and almost succeeded. His ideas in the early 1880’s were a precursor the eventual formation of the European Union in 1993. I truly Enjoyed this history!

Awful book.
Very short book obviously meant to be a quick summary of Napoleons life. The battles are glossed over and often don’t have their official names mentioned. Trafalgar, one of the largest, very important, very famous naval battles in history isn’t even named. Not useful for people using it as a first overview of Napoleon.
