I am surprised how much more I like and enjoy using this knife than my German heavy steel one. It's light and very sharp. It's thin, so not suitable for heavy-duty jobs .

To think I was scammed a few years ago by the so called JAPANESE Knife made by a company called HUSK. The sharpness of that knife (supposed to be ultra sharp) was dull after a few uses; and that was almost a hundred bucks down the drain This knife, made by KIWI in Thailand, IS SENSATIONAL. The blade of this knife could be used on a guillotine. A BRILLIANT PRODUCT AT A BRILLIANT PRICE.

I first bought one of these knives more than 20 years ago. In that time it has been sharpened countless times and the tip was broken off long ago trying to lever off a jar top. There's nothing wrong with it: the wooden handle has been through the dishwasher almost daily and is fine. The rivets are still tight, the blade is narrower now, but still fine. But I thought getting a new one, if possible, would be a good idea. And it arrived within 24 hours of ordering it. Amazing service, amazing value. Anyone who spends hundreds of dollars on kitchen knives needs their head read! This one has sawn through chicken bones, dices lettuce, fine slices tomatoes, skins fish... I love it.
