Much less expensive than purchasing professionally installed shades. They do the job and easy and inexpensive to replace when needed.

We have an upper window that I never wanted curtains on because it would look weird . During the day our kids take naps in the living room so since we moved in we would put a cardboard piece up on the window- I hated it . Then I came across this and it is just the perfect shuttle pull down that you barley notice. The only issue is it doesn’t always contract back up but that doesn’t really bother me . The best part is is the width is adjustable so mis measuring isn’t a huge deal

It was pretty easy to install but the brackets weren’t the “best” - they are a silver metal. It blocks out light I’d say 90% but the material is thinner than I’d like and the piece that slides into the bottom hem is lightweight plastic (no weight to it). Older shades I’ve gotten elsewhere had a heavier wood piece. I didn’t need to cut the shade down at all so I can’t say how easy that would be. I don’t really like the look of the bottom piece as compared to shades I’ve bought before. It has triangle shapes along the bottom fusing the material to form the hem instead of a faux stitched look. Despite these small shortcomings, it is a good value and I’d recommend it. It does the job and all the others I looked at online were way too pricey for this simple kind of roller shade in my opinion.

They worked perfectly for our living room windows. Very easy to work with. Easy to tear to fit to correct sizes. The brackets that came with them will not work with our older windows so, I had customized our older brackets to make these work. Will definitely buy more from this seller.

These shades worked fine for several months, but once summer hit and temperatures climbed into the 90s and 100s, they failed. The adhesive that secures the vinyl material to the rod couldn’t withstand the heat, and the shades came apart—precisely when I needed them most. Not recommended if you live in a warm climate or expect them to hold up under high temperatures.

Blinds and shades can be expensive but these shades are a good value for your money! I actually cannot believe they worked just as the description said they would. Easily customize the size to fit your window. They’re not fancy or high quality but they work GREAT and easy to install! Good shades on a budget!

Fit perfectly and it used the old hardware from my old shades. It was a fix that took mere moments to complete. They work well and darken the room. I wish I would have bought more. Can’t wait until they go on sale again and I will buy more to replace the rest of my old shades.

After having truly room darkening, heavy vinyl shades in the bedroom for 40 yrs, they finally needed replacing. They still functioned well and held up but had discolored a lot from age. I didn't want to spend a million dollars on comparable shades so I ordered 3 of these. They arrived in 2 separate shipments, one shade first in a skinny box, then 2 in a larger box the next day. Not difficult to put up, but one in the second delivery was bent horribly. I immediately initiated an exchange and received the replacement promptly. Although these are supposed to be room darkening, they aren't quite as good as the ancient ones I replaced but are darker than light filtering. Mine had to be installed "inside mount" which makes them a bit less effective. Outside mount would be preferable, I just wanted to use the same brackets my old shades were hung on. I would purchase again if I needed more. UPDATE: The replacement shade came quickly. Examined it to the best of my ability, all seemed well. Used one of the other 2 I had hung (same room, same measurement) for width and did the tear down successfully. Went to hang it up and it won't roll up. Seems something is warped. I took it down and manually rolled it up again making sure it was snug, still no success. Removed one of the other shades and put this one up thinking it was a problem with the brackets, still a no go. Now I have to either generate a return if I even can cause I already sized it and deal with going to UPS or just buy another one. What is wrong that these things seem to get bent cause it seems something, somewhere is bent. Once I figure this out I will not get anymore of these. So very exasperating! And costly in time and money!

First one I receive took a few minutes to install works great. Trimming wasn’t too hard. Received the other one I ordered a few days later had a big dent in the centre of the metal tubing must of happened in shipping. I ended up cutting off part of the tubing and making it work.
