Good regulator
The media could not be loaded. I needed a way to regulate the output from a solar charger to drive a LED sign, I had used this type of module before and so it seemed a good fit for what I wanted.Since the output from the charger varies quite a bit, I needed a 12V regulated line that could supply up to 3A.I take the output from this module and run into a MOSFET which I control via a board, this allows me to turn on my sign when it gets dark automatically and I can vary the brightness with the PWM.I have had no issues with these and even at 3A there’s little heat to speak of generated, very happy with this!

Bought several makes of these & ?? See below
Having bought several models of these, som good some very bad, I cannot say which are the bad. Advice, use antistatic matting. Set this up on a work bench. Current limit & voltage. When they work they are excellent. I'm using these as battery chargers, stable power supplies amongst other uses. I have added fans to keep them cool, 50 * 50 12 volt, also using voltage & current monitor, (Digital Ammeter Voltmeter 2PCS DC 100V 50A LED Volt Meter Voltage Current Meter) fan mounted directly onto of cooling fins.Presently testing with a very "Noisy elect" switch mode PSU, so far so good. No filters added.14 V @ 8 A. Just cranked the load up to 10A. cannot push the load over 10.5A, seems there is a cooling problem on the base of the board, Just confirmed this.Next test will be dual output into same load.Watch this space. So far very happy.FAILURES: Which models dont know1. Could not adjust current.2. Could not adjust voltage.3. Failed, no output.Take care with bridge rectifiers, some fail & output is 70V with high ripple, 4 of these same problem (Even with very good heat sink)

Works as it said it would
All ok

BOTH WERE DEAD ON ARRIVAL, DRY JOINTS.
Solution fine tipped soldering iron , solder , good eyesight , they now work.

It's a buck converter that works!
Buck converters step down but not up so If you want to drop, say 24 volts down to 12 or 5 volts with high efficiency then this is for you. Quiescent current is low....few tens of milliamps. The output is reasonably noise free but not perfect. Being switch mode there is radiated RF noise so if you operate next.to a radio you will hear interference. Other than that, for the price it's brilliant. Note that it you want to step a DC voltage up...say 24 to 36 volts this module won't do that. Look for a boost converter!

excellent
excellent and small

Solid regulator for batteries
Saved my bacon after frying two led drivers by a battery that was kicking out 27.5V instead of 24v. Put one of these really well made babies in, little ajustmebt, no more bang bang! For a fiver each and offering both constant current and constant voltage they are fantastic value for money. Only thing I’d like would be bigger / better spacing on the terminals.

output is only 23.22volts even maximum adjustment
wrong description. waste of money. even on maximum adjustment, it only reaches 23.22 volts output on a 24V input.
