This must be the best kimchi I have tried so far. Well spiced and a bit spicy. But damn it's good. It's a big container. It will last a good time, which is good. And for that price... I really really liked this

It came exploded inside. The one who received this for me had to wrap the box several times because of the smell. I was so embarassed, and had so much trouble cleaning up. More importantly, it smells as if one of the ice pack content was mixed to it. I hoped it gets better as time passes, because kimchi usually tastes better as time passes. However, it's still nasty and I am about to throw them away. I am Korean and I know what kimchi tastes like. DO NOT Buy this. Do not waste your money. If you'd like to try kimchi, buy instead from lucky food. It's a little more expensive, but it was never as disgusting.

This is the best tasting vegan kimchi I have found...and I have tried MANY brands! I would love to be able to buy this from one of the local regular or Asian grocery stores (which sell the non vegan Jongga Mat kimchi for about $10 a container). But since I can’t find it locally, I will continue to buy it through Amazon. I order this monthly and each time my order has arrived well packed. The container is always wrapped in plastic, then placed inside of a reusable zippered insulated bag with plenty of reusable cooling bags surrounding the container. A couple of times the inner seal that’s inside the lid of the container wasn’t fully sealed, but I believe that happened because the fermented gases inside the container caused the airpressure to increase, causing the lid to expand. Both times this happened, my package sat on my front porch for a couple of hours because I wasn’t able to bring it inside right when I got the delivery notification. Only one time did anything leak outside of the first layer of protection (the plastic bag). Highly recommend this product! Will definitely be ordering again.

It's worthy because this is a really huge jar! You can tell this is not American kimchi. it's the real kimchi. Love it, and the shipping was so fast! Definitely will buy it again!

Even though it has OU on it. You should be aware that they will only send you the non-kosher version of the item, even though they will show you a picture of the kosher version. Included in the list of ingredients is shrimp. Therefore, if you are looking for kosher kimchi, this is not for you!

This comes with a simple plastic seal on the lid, wrapped nicely in bubble wrap and with an ice pack, however the contents are not fresh because there was NO AIRTIGHT SEAL protecting and preserving the food so it’s no different than food staying out. If this is imported from Korea as stated and shipped from CA to where I am on the east coast, who knows how long it has been since made. Fresh Food requires airtight sealing.
