Q: Why do we have to turn it a couple times of the day? How do we know when we turned it enough?

You only need to turn it a couple times a day for the first day or 2. If that. It's just to ensure its snug, so it doesn't fall. If it's tight, no need to turn any more.

Q: Will this stick to an old school fiberglass shower wall?

I don't see why not. I have mine attached to tile and glass. As long as it's a smooth surface it should stick.

Q: how much weight can the hook hold?

Bought to hold up a bathroom shelf... for shampoo soap etc...and didnt work at all. Buy a shelf that hangs from shower faucet instead.
