Worked perfectly, for 2000 Porsche Boxter and 7" PLZ headunit
This fit perfectly. So much so that the upper unit did not need any screws to hold it in place. It sits in the console nice and snuggly. Took a moment to figure out the head unit itself had a bezel on the front that i needed to pop off in order to slide it into the double din bracket. The lower bracket also fit perfectly just do NOT cut the little plastic tabs on the lower one, they hold the bottom section in place firmly after snapping the trim back into place. I had to make my own tabs to after making the mistake of cutting them off. The upper unit on the other I had to cut several small tabs off to get the unit to fully slide into the holster. All in all this is great product and looks wonderful after installing.

Need major mod for 996.2 models. Power/constant power wire reversed
This kit even tho it’s superseded does not fit 996.2 models with out modification. There was the trimming required by the Mount plate. Then I had to trim the upper rear side of the bezel to get the frame to fit flush in. None of the bracket can be used. I bolted the head unit to the kit and end up drilling holes to screw the whole assemble together.Over all it looks finished in the dash with my JVC double din head unit. Just to be ready to make lots of modifications and not a straight forward installed.Wire harness note. If you have a 01/02 and you have a memory lost each time you turn off the car. Check your wires. My was one of those models with a reverse wire where the ignition red and constant power yellow are back words from the factory. After verify with multi meter reversed the wires and it functions as normal.

Easy installation into a 996 Porsche 911
A good product all around with simple instructions, should you need them. The double din head unit could fit a little more snugly in the dash kit, but a bit pf persuasion and I got it pretty square and flush. The lower AC control unit fascia fits like a glove, which I was skeptical of. Very nice.Good kit, and don't hesitate to buy should you be doing a radio conversion in your car.9.5/10

2003 Porsche Boxter - looks great
This worked great for my 2003 Boxter upgrade. The description is confusing as to whether or not this would work with 2003. I even contacted original manufacturer and they said it wouldn’t. Slight modification to install allowed it to fit perfectly.

Does not fit 02 Porsche 911 (996) Turbo with Bose System
After reading another review from someone saying that it fit perfectly on their 02 996, I went ahead and bought this kit for my aftermarket radio.Porsche has many variations of their radios and this kit did NOT fit. We had to file down the outside to make it fit

Fits perfectly and has great instrucitons
This is the second one I have purchased, the first was for my 2000 Boxster and the second one was for my 1999 Boxster. I would recommend this to anyone doing a radio upgrade in a Porsche
