Great sturdy, nice and shiny. Fits mini cooper (r56 n16) perfectly. However does not fit EJ25, as it hits pickup inside the oil pan.

Captures Shavings
I installed this on a generator without an oil filter. It captured some shavings during the break in, which is normal. It appears to be working properly and it is just a little extra safety measure for a generator without an oil filter.

Works as designed
Works in place of oem drain plug. I like the hex head rather than the recessed square hole of the oem drain plug.

Did not fit correctly
I bought this replace mine since this had a magnet. Looks almost identical but did not thread in all the way and didn’t want to force it. Bought another from mr2 vendor and went in right away! So something is off spec for the sizing on this thing measurements are correct but not to spec!
