The media could not be loaded.  Installed by a highly rated electrician. Bought and installed in late June 2023. It "worked" initially but the exhaust really wasn't pulling out much moisture, even though the cfm is slightly larger than needed for my small bathroom. It's now Sept 21, 2023 and a few days ago the heater went defective and started making crazy scary sounds. Contacted Broan through Amazon, slow to respond, didn’t get a receipt email acknowledging support submission, and not satisfied with response. They want to just send a replacement heater rather than a complete new unit. While waiting for Broan to respond I contacted Amazon and after a ton of back and forth, was told I could order a replacement and when it arrives they'll issue a refund for it. I would prefer to not replace this model and get a different one, but I'm not spending money on an electrician to fit in different housing, so I will put in this replacement unit into the old housing and hope it works out better than the first round. Always held Broan in high regard, not so much at this point and would not recommend this unit.

I had to install additional structure to the ceiling joists because the unit wasn’t made for retrofitting existing home. The pictures are of the old exhaust fan and the new one with heat.

The best thing about this exhaust fan/heater is that it fits perfectly in the hole left by the 25+ year old one it replaced! I didn't install it my self but it took the handyman about half an hour to do it, including getting rid of the old one. Good price and nice upgrade.

Installed this unit to replace an older unit. After installation, the heater fan is too noisy. It's unusable. What a mess. Now, what? Replace the whole unit again? Replace the heater fan? Why can't stuff just work?
