Needed a screen to keep my cats out of the fireplace. The dimensions on this aren't quite right (too tall) and like other reviews say, it wants to tip forward (actually it does if you don't support it) when a door is open. After looking at many others, what's super helpful with this one is that the feet are not at the ends so it fits without having to cut the feet on the backside or having to match the width perfectly. I don't know if it's actually worth $75 but it's one of the more reasonably priced units I've seen and it's doing what I needed it to do.

Love the modern look of this fireplace screen and the fact that it has doors so you can leave the screen in place when tending to the fire. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the entire screen nearly tips over when the doors are open. The stand the screen is mounted on doesn’t support the weight of the doors very well when they’re open. For this reason, I’ll probably end up mounting it directly to the fireplace. Otherwise, I’m happy with it and the quality is decent for the price.

This fit our fireplace opening perfectly! We needed a fire screen with a tight fit to keep our pets out. It’s sturdy, light weight, and it blends well with the black tiles. It’s a simple, modern screen that doesn’t take away from the design of the fireplace. Looks like it’s built-in! The handles make it easy to open and close. The screen is thin enough to let heat out, but thick enough to be of good quality.

PROS: Nice looking door and magnets are quite accurate as described. The black matte paint is very pretty the screen seems to be very strong. THE CONS: The legs are not sturdy enough it Wobbles when I opened the door And falls forwards. ‼️UPADTE NOV. 30 2025 ‼️ My husband came with a solution for the Wobbly problem he took the legs out and bolted it to wall and now is just perfect easy to access. Very sturdy and the magnetic door is great so you don't have to remove the screen to access the fireplace

Not intended to be a pristine paint (contemporary, mid century) effect. But understand why a more clean lined treatment is preferred. ✔️Purchased the gold and love how it contrasts and compliments my green, gray, charcoal slate stone fireplace face. Perfection. ✔️ One of the product videos demonstrated instability and squeaking when opening and closing? When we assembled and put in place, there was neither of the kind. Most likely due to the back side support of the fireplace frame itself? ✔️Doesn't obstruct rooms' walk path. ✔️Very flattering athestetic, function and practicality indeed! ✔️Very reasonably priced.
