Perfect Product...
The media could not be loaded. Product is made to perform. It can hold twice as much as the avr in the picture... which is 50 pounds alone. With two young children ... after finishing my home theater I am glad I used this shelf for the main component.Even the paint finish is excellent and durable. The wire concealment is a dream considering all the thick cables and wires an 11.2 system has. The power box wall plug... the coax for cable... subwoofer cables... no other product would allow an install this clean.Very happy......I could not give it less then 5 stars because it was so perfect... but I had to get it from somewhere else as the one on amazon never made it to my house. That ok though!

If you want someone sturdy and high quality this is it
The original image doesn't do it enough justice.I even have mine mounted without the plastic cap add on that is meant to hide the metal wall mount. If you have a heavy speaker above 30 pounds or more, this item will be perfect and sturdy to hold 100 pounds as advertised. It installs like a regular flat screen wall mount. Metal bar that sits across the wall (and semi adjustable before tightening the screws).I needed something sturdy that could hold my Klipsch reference center speaker that is 30.4lbs and with a measurement of 8" Height (20.3cm) ,WIDTH: 23.5" (59.7cm) and DEPTH:12.8" (32.4cm) with grille. Pretty massive and decently heavy. After looking around I only found mounts that could hold 30 pounds maximum and they looked fragile but limited length. Until I saw this unit. Payed more but well worth the price.I installed it in the center under my LED, but floating above my subwoofer which is also under the LED, but on the floor. The item has 3 parts (I will upload a few pictures later). The wall unit, and two metal hook arms that can extend, but fit perfectly for my speaker which is massive already and had room to spare in the front without extending the arms. Under the two arms is a metal slider with a latch connecting it to the top part of the hook arm. This is how you adjust it to extend the length. I didn't even need it since it had room to spare in it's default configuration. It also came with a plastic cap which is what you see in the original manufacture photo. Never added mind since it made the wall mount stand out. If you're using this for a big speaker, it should hide the wallount so I would recommend not using the plastic cap. Two screws, two anchors and directions. Its pretty straight forward and mounts the same as flat screen wall mount but instead of 4 screws only uses 2.PROS: Solid, sturdy and feels strong and easy to mount. (Two holes)CONS: None other than including a shiny plastic cap to hide the wallmount. This is really trivial and not really a negative since you're not forced to use it. It's optional. I found the wallmount blended better without the plastic cap. The cap makes the wall mount bigger and stands out due to the reflect nature of the plastic. It's already tiny and adding any speaker should instantly hide it.NOTE. AFter installing the hook arms right under it has a screw which you can screw in to lift the arm if needed.

these can easily handle the 35 pound weight of each speaker
I've purchased these before as an alternative to hanging my BOSE 901 speakers from the ceiling.Once installed into studs, these can easily handle the 35 pound weight of each speaker.Well-made, simple and elegant design.

Solid Product
Bought this so that I would have some shelf placement adjustability to center below a 37" LCD on a wall in a master bedroom, with a dresser below. Most other shelves seem to need to be centered on a wall stud. This one attaches to two consecutive studs and offers a lot of freedom in placement. As long as you mount it level, it's hard to mess up. Installation took all of about 5 minutes with a phillips screwdriver, a socket wrench, and a cordless drill.Pretty bombproof and industrial look. This thing is really meant to hold a stack of gear, and extends wide enough to hold about anything you could imagine up to 100lbs. I have the legs fully retracted, with a blue ray DVD player and cable box stacked on it, and there's still a good 5" of space behind to the wall for cord management. This might stick out a bit too much for some people's taste in a similar situation, but I like the look, and so does my wife. With a little cord management, this thing looks clean. It has a nice black cover over the wall bracket that offers a good background to hide cords, etc. Using simple velcro cord ties and a little work, I was able to conceal all cords from most angles of view. I also installed the Wiremold Flatscreen Cover Kit Wiremold CMK30 Flat Screen Television Cord Cover Kit, White to cover all the power cords and coax on the wall from the shelf to the floor, painted it the same color as the wall, and presto- professional looking installation at a fraction of the cost.I'm happy, and most importantly, so is my wife. She said it Feng Shui'd up the room. Wiremold CMK30 Flat Screen Television Cord Cover Kit, White
