I have purchased no less than 6 different hose/garden nozzles in the last several years, all from well established reputable companies. These are both a pistol grip type and wands - where you can select from 7-8 different streams by rotating the dial. Almost universally, after one season my satisfaction drops - dial gets harder to turn, getting the nozzle to fully shut off so I can leave it while spigot connection remains on becomes impossible. Leaks occur at the attachment point even after replacing the washers etc. I saw this nozzle and purchased it as a more reliable, well made simple nozzle with basic adjustable sprays. I really like it - it's heavy, solid and with minimal moving parts and NO plastic, it's going to last. No leaks at all, I can leave it on from the spigot for days at a time and just turn the nozzle on when I need it. Great stream, fan and mist levels of spray. I'll get a few more!!

I attached my new nozzle to a new hose, screwing them together, seamless fit. Solid quality, turning the nozzle back and forth gives a whole range of water emissions, from small spray to long and strong arc of water that extends 30 to 40 yards. No leaks! I expect this will last for years.
