Expensive Hat. Not really enough protection to be considered a helmet.
The Vebodi Indo Surf Helmet Hat arrived in a bubble wrap UPS bag. All sorts of unknown damage could have occurred to this "helmet" before arrival. The protection provided is minimal. The back of your head is completely unprotected. The front and sides benefit from very thin plastic bonded to thin foam. Very expensive for what is provided. I would not recommend this if you are looking for actual protection. I'm trying to return it.

Light helmet for dinghy sailing. Exactly what I was looking for.
I sail and race an Ilca dingy (former Laser). On windy days I regularly hit my head with the boom. This light helmet will help avoid cuts. The chin strap will keep it secure even on capsizes. Good product!
