ShadowlinePlus Size Women's Petals 53 Inch Short Flutter Sleeve Long Gown

This is my first time having a Shadowline nightgown. A lot of my aunts and older relatives wear them and swear by them. I found they were super silky feeling and soft and I really enjoyed lounging around the house in them. My only two issues is I had to wear a housecoat or topper with them because the nightgown showed the outline of my underwear and (probably TMI) pokey nipples on top. I know this product line also has a house robe or peignoir you can buy, however I ended up wearing my house cardigan instead before going to bed.Other issue what if you sweat at night, this nightgown will feel terrible against your skin. I'm not sure if it's the nylon, but I ended up sweating a LOT at night wearing this. I got sweaty, then cold, then sweaty again. I'll still wear it but reserve it for when it's colder in the room.

When the temperature goes way down, I always like to sleep in a long nylon nightgown to wrap my feet in - nice and cozy!

This nightgown fit perfectly and is so soft and comfortable

I have been using Shadowline gowns for most of my life and never dissapointed. I am 74 now but used them when I was young and nothing else ever compared to the softness and comfort. I have used gowns less expensive and and my body could not breathe in them. They may cost a little more but you get what you pay for.

I like this night gown, but I think the top runs a little small. I am not a big busted lady so I don’t think it’s that. I have plenty of room in the bottom & it is soft & moves well when I turn in bed. Fabric is good & heavier than the cheaper fabrics some of the competitors are made from. I know this gown will wash & wash & wash for years. Color choices are nice & would buy again because it came in good time & price good too, but I think I would go up one size just to be more comfortable.

I have bought these nightgowns for years. They are of the best quality and comfort anyone can expect. They have the feel of luxury everytime you put one on. These are not see through and are made with excelent sewing in the manufacturing. The colors are vibrant and do not fade. My opinion is just these are the best!

Sadly the nightdress arrived dirty so was sent back. Would have been noticed at packi g stage without doubt.

This Night gown is so nice. The material is silky smooth and feels good. Now I’m 5-4 and 122 lbs. I can wear a medium and it fits perfect. However I like my Night gowns loose so I’m going to buy a large next time just because I want it a little big. I don’t mind having both sizes, I’ll wear whatever gown I’m in the mood for that day. This gown is worth the money. It washes and hang drys beautifully with softener. That’s my personal preference on how to dry these gowns. I want one in every colour. I love them.

Very pretty; pure nylon ;has static because of the dry winter weather but would probably feel nice and cool in summer if it fit; width and length is fine but the upper body part arm hole and neck are like a size medium even though it’s supposed to be extra large; I would’ve like to give it a four-star but can’t because the fit is very strange at the top

I didn't notice when I bought it, but after the first wash I found a stain on the fabric that would not come out. I should have checked the nightgown more thoroughly when I took it out of the box. I love Shadowline nighties. They are my favorite and on Amazon they are very affordable, however, I think the stain might be why they're being sold so cheap. This is not the first review that mentioned a stain on the fabric so please beware.

Love love love. This is like the beautiful nighties of yesteryear. It's thin and gliwy but not too see through. The ref colour is gorgeous. I'm 5' tall and 155 pound the large is a little big but I like it because I like sleepwear loose. Would order again. Too bad they are so expensive.
