My 18 month old won't go outside without wearing this hat. It's his absolute favorite, and it washes so well. He comes in with mud stains on it, and they always come out in the wash. great quality and protects his sensitive skin from the sun. It fits as expected and is super cute.

We love this Carhartt toddler hat* especially in the classic black—it goes with everything! It provides great sun coverage and has a **Velcro back**, which we find much easier to use than snapbacks. It does run a bit large for our 2-year-old, but the quality and look are worth the wait, so we’re holding onto it until it fits better in a few months. Overall, a great staple for little ones who need a durable, stylish hat!

Another grandson purchase for me. Not a whole lot to say other than it's a Carhartt and their brand is good quality great fit, I was even happy with the price of this compared to the price of Carhartt hats in other stores.

The quality of the hat is great, but the sizing is not the best. I followed the sizing chart and got the small since my son is 8 months old. This hat is quite a bit too big. I feel it would better for him closer to when he is 12 months old. I liked the stretchy option instead of a button or clasp closure, but I feel that is what limits the fit for some infants. Definitely made for infants to with bigger heads. Besides the size, the product is adorable and I cannot wait until my son fits it better.

I bought 2 of these caps. One when my grandson was a baby and another cap of a larger size. Some people commented that it did not have the Velcro back on the hats, but the larger size does. The baby hats were sewn with elastic under the cloth. I guess the baby caps prevented the baby from choking on the Velcro. Both caps are well-made and I really like both. The stuffed animals wear the baby cap now.

fits my 9m old nephew! it has space left, but hope he can wear it to 18m like it states. it's quite hard compared to adult hats from carhartt. not soft at all. still very cute.
