Blue Wave NS510 14-mil Solar Blanket for Rectangular In-Ground Pools, 12-ft x 24-ft, Clear

Great product should have ordered the 20 foot wide cover had to use a piece of the cut side to cover my 18 x 32 irregular pool.....don't forget to include the length ot the stairs when purchasing. Long term review only lasted 3 summers then started to rip at seams. Also air bubbles are deteriorating and clog up filter I thought it would have lasted more than 3 seasons . I Also took the time to store it away In winter in my cabana. Just disappointed that we now will have to purchase a new one to keep our pool water warm this coming summer

This cover is simply too heavy. The air bubbles are the same as the lighter covers but the heavy 14 mil plastic tends to get too much water on top.This water evaporates and defeats half the reason to have a cover. It is also a real problem to handle. I strongly suggest getting a lighter cover...( like I had last year ) . Also the thicker the plastic the less solar radiation penetrates to the water.

Well worth the money. I was very apprehensive about getting this as my pool is oddly shaped. Cut it into 3 pieces to make taking it off and on easy and fit our pool. Takes less the 5 min to put on and off. It does a great job at keeping the heat in the pool. On cool nights only drops one degree. used to drop over 5 degrees and will heat back up if sunny day. Also much, much less evaporation. So I am glad that I went for the 14 mil and not the 12 mil as is way more durable than I thought. I think if you are thinking about this pay the extra and get the 14 mil instead. I don't have a roller for it and don't need it. My pool is 36 by 18 ft so is large but it is so easy to take this on and off. But not using a roller then cut into smaller pieces. I used Duct tape to mark each piece so easy to know which piece goes where.

Price point was excellent. We also purchased a sun protectant cover. We shall see after a year how it is. We are very happy with the quality as the seams are welded instead of our old one that was stitched and it always collected dirt in the over flap.

Arrived quickly. The proper size and quality which was the same as purchasing through a pool supply store. You still have to purchase/attach straps for rolling the blanket. All in all, pleased with the purchase. Time will tell how long the blanket holds up over the chlorine.
