I fractured my left lateral tibial plateau last week and opted to buy this wrap, even though less expensive but similar items were available, for two reasons: free next-day delivery for Prime account holders and great reviews. Free next-day delivery was a requirement for me, but even then I had several choices, and the reviews tipped the scale in favor of this one. I'm entirely pleased with my choice - it arrived on time, is comfortable and made of quality materials, stays in place, provides excellent compression, and leaves my knee well-iced, yet not uncomfortably cold - no wetness, no stinging or freezing sensation; I barely notice that I'm wearing it. I haven't felt the need to buy a back-up ice pack - one has been sufficient for my needs. I wish I didn't need to keep my knee iced, but I'm grateful I found this wrap.

I have arthritis in both knees (bone on bone in one, and pretty close in the other) so I was looking for a compression wrap that would address the stabbing/shooting pain I get in the medial part of my knees. as well as the stiffness. I've used compression wraps before, but the were often a little uncomfortable to wear and hard to fit just right. This one seemed to take the idea to the next level. I particularly liked the idea of putting the ice pack into the freezer and storing the wrap elsewhere - I have so many ice wraps in my freezer that the rest of the contents are getting jealous. I am so pleased with this product that I couldn't wait to write a review for it. Cold and compression does seem to work best for many injuries, and I've experienced a lot of the stinging pain other reviewers have. There is none of that with the Ubertherm. Use it next to the skin (the fabric in the wrap will protect you) and when you remove it, you'll be surprised at how cold the area is. This is a high-quality wrap and I was pleased with everything from this seller - from the packaging to the shipping time to the product itself and to the follow-up. I've already told them that if they come out with a wrap for plantar fasciitis, I'll be their first customer. Don't hesitate. If you want a sturdy, comfortable, effective wrap to help relieve your knee pain, order this.

I bought this for PFPS that was getting aggravated by running and it has been working great. Seems well made, clear instructions (with nice branding), and stays true to its promise of staying cold. Sure, you're not going to have great mobility in this thing, but I'm pretty sure it was made with rest in mind (what you're supposed to be doing when icing/elevating an injury). Also, this stays plenty cold for over 20-25 minutes - the maximum time you should really be icing at any given time - and recharges quickly and easily in the freezer. Really happy with this purchase.2020 UPDATE (after having this for 3 years) - I smacked my knee on the pavement and this thing came in handy again, and it's still performing like it was when I first got it (having used it plenty of times). Seems really well made, still happy with the purchase.

Better than expected. I am very picky. I purchased this product for ankle and for knee - both are super great. I have tried other products, not nearly as well made, as comfortable or good. Worth spending a few extra bucks to order an extra freezer insert - "it's like having a clean set of sheets on hand." Also have used these products for over a year - ice packets are high quality, no leaks, and just as effective - the inserts stay cold for a long time. I just had a total knee replacement on my left leg and this product is great at reducing the swelling after physical therapy. The hospital sent me home with an icing machine that circulates cool water thru the wrap, but it's kinda awkward and clumsy to use with the tubes and water tank. My next attempt was using ice pads from CVS and an Ace bandage which was difficult to apply. So this product with the built in compartment for the flexible cooling pack conforms to my knee and works great. Easy to put on my knee with the neoprene and velcro, and great cooling effect - you can feel that it's cool to the skin but not super cold and uncomfortable. I'm having my right knee replaced in a couple months and will be using this product for it as well.

I was looking for a wrap that holds ice packs to ice my knee, post-knee replacement surgery, while at work. Have you tried to hold an ice pack on your knee while typing? It's a bit of a challenge. This works perfectly for this purpose. It hold the ice in place, stays cold for the 15-20 minutes I need it to, and fits snugly. It even works through the khaki type pants I wear to work most days. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the middle strap isn't long enough to fit all legs. I had to spend about $4.00 more to purchase an extender for the middle strap. Otherwise it's really great. I ended up ordering four ice packs so I can keep rotating them all day long.

Excellent knee ice pack wrap that gives you the mobility to move around. We suggest you order 2 extra ice packs to have available to change out. We highly recommend this ice pack wrap because of the quality and efficient Velcro wraps that hold it in place. Their customer service is also excellent!

The ubertherm wrap is easy to use and works well. I found that it lasted a bit more than thirty minutes , covering the sides of my knees much better than the flat gel pad I had been using. I am using it post operatively after surgery on both knee quadriceps tendons , and it is exactly what I need, giving me the ability to adjust the amount of compression along with the cold comfort. Being able to move around is an added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues requiring a good cold compress application. Although I have just started to use them, I bought two, and they appear well made and I expect to use them for the foreseeable future.

Magnifique. c'est la poche que je cherchais ! mise en place facile ce n'est pas une usine à gaz, super tenue même sur mon mollet fin de coureur, les velcros sont de qualité ne s'accrochent pas de partout à en devenir fou. La poche de froid diffuse à travers une double peau, pas besoin de remettre un autre tissu. le froid est vraiment diffusé sur une large zone, c'est très intense et pourtant on ne sent rien tellement c'est doux et confortable. Je détestais les poches de glace car en rentrant du boulot se congeler la jambe un soir d'hiver n'avait rien de réjouissant et du coup je ne respectais pas mes soins., mais là c'est le top du top. Confort efficacité facilité d'usage et qualité de finition : 5 étoiles.

Great quality product. Very well made. The material is strong but comfortable, the strapping secure. On the internal side there's a pocket for the ice pack which is made of a comfortable fleecy material. This allows the ice pack to start slow but properly cool the knee without stinging or hurting. When the pack partially thaws, the straps can be readjusted to ensure the best placement on the affected area.The pack can also be worn to cool the back of the knee, really important in calming inflammation there too.I had surgery to insert a plate and pins after a motorcycle accident. This ice pack is absolutely perfect to help through the recovery and rehabilitation phase when physio causes inflammation to flare up as mobility and strength is worked on.Easy 5 stars, fantastic purchase.

Vorbei die Zeit mit zu kleiner, zu kalter, zu lappriger Kühlkompresse, die, eingewickelt in ein Küchentuch, nie dort bleibt und kühlt, wo man (Knie) Kühlung braucht. Die Manschette selbst ist angenehm weich, dennoch stabil, hält das Kühlkissen dort, wo es benötigt wird. Die Straps sind ausreichend lang und weich, um auch sehr kräftige Männerknie zu umschließen, ohne dabei einzuschneiden. Der Kühleffekt hält sehr lange an, ohne jemals unangenehm zu sein, obwohl die Manschette direkt auf der Haut getragen wird. Das gesamte Produkt ist in hervorragender Materialqualität und in ebensolcher Verarbeitung. Habe mir noch ein zweites Kühlkissen für den "fliegenden" Wechsel hinzu gekauft. Kann die Manschette uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.
