This tool is light weight but, very tough. Breaking apart pallets works better if you take it slow and easy which, will be less chance for cracking wood. Also, it is strong enough to pull nails through the wood. Eizzy Bar makes the work Easy!

Izzy is fund to watch; love the entrepreneur in him. So I opted for his bar vs a chinese made one or a DIY.Wish I could say it paid for itself already; but so far my wife keeps taking all my finished projects for herself instead of selling!Depending on the pallet makeup, I can salvage one in 10-15min with this, and most boards are usable.

As advertised. Heavy duty, well made.

Does not work with all pallets.

Bought this for my boyfriend. He uses pallet wood in his art as the canvas. He loves this tool as breaking down a pallet without it is frustrating; this makes the breakdown easy work.

If you know Izzy from YouTube fame, then you know he cares a lot and builds amazing inventions...this is based on one of his creations. I have now busted up well over a dozen pallets in the last week and this product works as advertised with minimum weight but strong construction with support wings on both sides to support any type of pallet. A bit pricey but well worth the end result knowing it does what it's intended to do. I almost bought a cheaper version of this tool but wanted to support Izzy and I do not regret my decision.

Best money I have spent on my do it yourself products.There are many competitors out there but I chose this model because of the single heavy duty claw, which has proven itself to be a good choice. Some boards are tight to get a tool into and the single claw works much better than two would.My former option was using a sawzall to disassemble now I go through the boards quicker and no nail heads are left behind. You will get some broken ends on weak boards but I have found a use for them in my projects.The long handle on this tool aids in making it a snap, anyone could use this tool without much effort.

Surprised at how light it is. My 11 yr old has no problems using it. Add in the fact that we are now prepared for the zombie apocalypse, and it's a no-brainer. (Pun fully intended.) The only flaw is purely cosmetic. They didn't clean the welding spatter off the bar before painting. Makes it look like an amateur's project.
