Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah High Capacity Battery (2-Pack) P145

I had the old style of Ryobi batteries and they had not been keeping a charge very well. So I went online to look for replacements. These Lithium batteries are the new style that Ryobi recommends. They are about the same size as the old style, about the same weight and about the same cost. BUT, they hold a better charge, a longer charge, they charge quicker and well, my Ryobi tools seem to operate better. The drill and saw are both running faster than they ever did on the original batteries. I am so happy to have bought these, I was getting ready to stop using my Ryobi tools, but with these new Lithium batteries, I am happy again.

Fast delivery and packed good. I Purchased this to operate the cordless blower I Purchased from Amazon. Batteries keep a long charge. Can’t believe the power behind these batteries. I’m a contractor and use them every day in the rain, sleet, snow, water will not stop them, not to mention dropping them from the roof or the floor they just will not stop working.

These things are awesome. I have some of the original ryobi lithium batteries (2.4ah I think). I loved them so much that after a few years I decided I needed a couple more. I bought these expecting the same performance. Instead, these last much longer than the original lithiums - that's when I figured out they were higher capacity (4ah). Yeah I know I should have read that first, but instead I got a little pleasant surprise. They charge with the original charger in about the same amount of time as my other lithiums. This was a great purchase and has me prepped for the spring/summer building and gardening season.

Good quality lasts a lot longer than the ones that came with my tools. Definitely a lot better than the offbrand cheaper ones. Had one and it lasted about two years & don’t work no more so I bought this new two pack. Definitely worth the money!

Same price as home depot but got here quicker. Charged up and used one with my super light ryobi weedeater. Worked great. It can't do what my echo can, but the ryobi the kids can handle. Made the mistake of storing my old 1.5 Ah battery in the weed eater over winter and that one ended up dead as a doornail. I won't make that mistake again. These will serve light duty in the weed eater and blower. Have Dewalt impact and drill set, and craftsman impact but I'll buy a ryobi impact if I need a third. No issues. Will update. Can't rate longevity or battery life yet.

I was trying to edge the sidewalk with a regular battery and it took hours. I am not lying. I had to edge, stop, recharge and edge for 5 minutes and recharge. This battery holds a charge and I can edge the front walkway in about 15 minutes without a problem. I had to buy a heavy duty charger but it charges extremely fast. I would recommend this battery. I wish I had bought it sooner and saved my self some labor.

Great value for 2 Ryobi lithium batteries. Much longer battery life than the NiMH. I seem to also get more power for tough jobs on my Ryobi drill (drilling concrete) and saw than with the older batteries. These batteries must be able to deliver more current at the same 18V. Charge only using the green lithium charger. Charging was relatively fast 2-4 hours after heavy use, but not full discharge.

Love these batteries. Absolutely worth the upgrade from the originals. My tools actually run the way they were meant to. In addition, the new batteries are about half the weight and last so much longer. Especially impressed with the sawzall now that it has adequate power. Fantastic. What a difference.

Conservent bien leurs charges même sur de longue période d'inutilisation contrairement aux produits/outils d'autres marques ... Un peu dispendieuses toutefois.

I have a Ryobi cordless kit, drill, reciprocating say, 4" circular saw and light. I've used and charged the battery maybe 5 times, and it won't take a charge. Also, the batteries don't keep there charge very long. Of course, I can't return them now. I bought the charger and 2 batteries, and I'm out 250 dollars for JUNK. I figured if I went with the brand name, I would be ok ... apparently not. I am reassessing the products that I will by from amazon.

The batteries were shown in the ad packaged in a hard shell. They arrived loose. When buying expensive rechargeable batteries my concern is that they may be used or returned items that wont work at 100 % potential for me. I would feel better if they had arrived in the same packaging as per the photo.
