These dried split peas are far superior to what you get in the grocery stores. The grocery store stuff doesn't even come close to these in terms of taste and quality. These are very fresh, there is no debris or grit, they plump out fairly quickly when soaked and they taste fabulous. I buy in bulk and then put what I don't immediately use in a mason jar with an oxygen absorber and they last for ages with no change in quality. Everything I have purchased from this company has been of superior quality, reasonable pricing and has shipped quickly.
