I'm a black cat owner and yes I go a bit over board with my sweetie. I seen this product and was excited. When I received it and used it. It's just a novelty not a very good mascara at all. It may be fine for young girls that just starting out with makeup but just not for me.

Makes my lashes about twice as long. Really. Better than a lot of main stream mascaras out there that you pay much, much more for. Nice color. No smudging, no 'racooning' Good product. No eye irritation.
