Works exactly like it should
Prevented me from burning a hole through my wall while completing a project. Works as it should and would recommend for any also projects requiring fire protection

Yep it works
I really like it because when i touch it it doesn't leave fiberglass shards in my hand like normal heat shields. this literally feels like felt. it does kind of "shed" if you're rough with it but it can stand the heat just fine.

I believe it to be the real deal
I didn’t or haven’t used it for welding. I used it as a wrap around heat shield for a duct of a diesel heater. It significantly reduced the heat, as I hope it would, as I needed it to protect 2 lithium 12v batteries from over heating, that were almost touching the duct. The temp gets no more than 33 degrees C, from 80 degrees C.
