excellent Blackview A55 budget phone
i bought this to replace an old Moto G Play. The new phone has a good clear screen, good battery life, quick charging and a perfectly adequate camera. It is very easy to set up, thanks to the built in start up wizard. However, the manual is very basic indeed and a person new to smartphones might struggle to set all the variable specifications. I haven't tried out facial recognition and it does not have fingerprint ID, which is not a problem for me. How pleasing to find it is not loaded with bloatware and it has the latest Android OS. My wife tried it out and was so impressed we bought another one straightaway. Hard to believe it is so good for the money and I thoroughly recommend it.

Nice and Simple Phone
Have bought two of these now for my parents. They are good value for money; have loads of apps, way too many for my parents, and work in generally the same way as all android phones. battery life is good, although they only basically use them for phoning and looking at pictures of grand kids, so cannot comment on battery life if used for streaming or internet etc. All in all a nice sized phone for the money.

Absolute rubbish
Originally I thought this phone was ok but two months on I want to warn you the camera is absolute rubbish, voice recognition does not recognise your voice even during phone calls so turn it off . Also the fault I am now having with it is it's saying storage is full so even after adding an sd card removing all data and cache ,pictures still won't download on watts app this seems to be a common fault .Now I'm looking for a new phone ,lesson learnt you get what you pay for .

Great for kids or adults
This phone looks like a much more expensive brand than it is. It is very easy to fully set up and can use the android system to transfer over details from an old phone. My SIM card fitted well without having to use an adapter. The phone looks great and even comes with a nice clear case so you can enjoy the colour of the back. The camera is great quality and holds up against my husbands more expensive one. It’s well made and looks strong so far.The screen is sensitive so does what I need it to. There is a good size memory and all the apps and photos I need are easily stored on it.

Value for money, excellent spec for budget device
After using smartwatch from blackview I thought I would give it try with their mobile device, when opening the box I was pleased to see case and screen protector applied by manufacturer, device feel light and well made, it was easy to set up and also give option to transfer data from previous device. For budget phone it's very responsive and quick, Camera quality great front and back, battery charged to 100% quicker than expected, having dual SIM handy when traveling abroad for holidays, am glad they kept option for external memory card. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase just as I was with smartwatch.
