ELVATDB PROTX6 Code Alarm Aftermarket Keyless Entry Remote Fob Factory OEM KEY FOB

I bought this remote due to my original factory one broke. (The plastic) and the screws were stripped . I put the batteries in and didn't even have to program it to my car alarm. Very satisfied would definitely purchase again

I cannot complain at all about this replacement remote. It is an exact replacement for the 2 dead transmitters that i originally got with my car. The remotes i had were so well worn i could not read the information on the back of them i could barely make out --OTX- so I was basically matching buttons and shape with what i had. I purchased one followed the simple instructions to get it paired with car alarm and remote start. It was as easy as holding a button while starting the car. Have no fear if you can press a button you can do it yourself no need to take it to a shop or even enlist your tech savvy teenager. I will say i didn't even have to follow the complete programing guide once i got first button synced the remote worked exactly like my original remote. SO EASY. I immediately purchased a second one that also paired just as easily. I have my remote start back for those cold mornings. highly recommend.

My 22 year old Toyota SecuriKey+ keys have both been breaking for a couple of years. Replacements are obsolete. I have a couple of non SecuriKey+ keys that I can use, but would lose the remote lock/unlock ability. Many reports have indicated this fob is the same frequency as my SecuriKey, so I took a chance. Programmed perfectly into my Toyota. This fob + my plain-Jane keys and I am back in business for another 20 years.

It is great to know that i can still gind this remote for my car. It works fine and easy to program.

The programming that came attached was slightly different from the code alarm manual. It was not the issue of the fob but the way the system was installed my door negative was not connected. Once I had that connected to the ground. The programming went as described. Works perfect.

Directions are vague hard to program

The package came ahead of time, and was quick and easy to set up! To the seller thank you for the directions! Although when I first tried to set it up my alarm system kept doing the commands for the controller backwards. After about 10 minutes it was up and working though. I bought this to replace my old remotes for my car that broke on me after a year. This is definitely a quality remote and I will probably order 2 more for back up!

A little sparse with the programming instructions (for my 2006 Ford), but once it was set up, it works fine.
