Q: does this unit come with a remote controller to adjust speed, etc. ?

This unit has dip switches on the side that allow you to set the rotation speed on the unit itself. If you want a remote control option you will use the DMX input and plug the remote cable (3pin DMX) in the length you need from controller to unit model starts with AC3PDMX (then length) and go back to the controller likely the SDC12 for basic control and would run it that way. Hope this helps. You can also run this from any standard DMX512 board as a fixture if this is part of a larger show. Examples of these controllers would be the DMX Operator or software options like the MYDMX3.0.

Yes by setting the dip swithes to certain settings. I would recommend if that’s all you need to buy one that doesn’t have DMX control and save yourself some monies! But read the manual for this and see the options for dip switches. I’m not sure that you can select a speed if not using DMX. It might just be on or off anyway.
