Effective and comfortable in solving arch and Achilles pain
I ordered 2 of these night splints to help with plantar fasciitis. My doctor said get a night splint... check Amazon. These are comfortable to wear and I've noticed a decrease in heel pain with my first steps in the morning. The spiky ball is great for working my arch and heel and so easy to sit in a chair and use while reading or watching TV. I've seen ads for other arch supports that sell individually, but you get two with your night splint and ball. This is an excellent price for quality products and everything you get. After using for less than a week, my feet already feel better. I've fought foot and Achilles problems of and on for years. When I start to feel pain... I'll use these. They will save me a lot money by not needing physical therapy and other medical help. I've tried others over the years, but would recommend these as more effective and comfortable to wear.

Good Product for Planter Fasciitis
I woke up last Wednesday morning with a severe case of planter fasciitis. Began researching how to heal my foot and stumbled across this product. Ordered thinking, I'll try anything at this point. Between having my foot in the splint, a few stretches, and some ice, I was walking with minimal pain in 3 days. Day 4 and 5 have been much better. I haven't used this product at night just when I've needed it during the day. Typically wear it for 1-2 hours at a time. I would recommend this adjustable splint. It's comfortable to wear and very easy to put on and take off. Solid product!

Let’s be honest…
Well, let's be honest: A night splint that is designed to effectively stretch your gastroc muscle isn't going to be objectively "comfortable". If it's doing its job, you'll know it's there. That said, I've tried a few different types of night splints to alleviate symptoms of plantar fasciitis, and this one has been both the most tolerable and the most effective. I am short with small feet and short calves, and this splint has offered the best fit for my body type. The soft surface of the insert along the front front prevents me from wanting to pull it off during the night, which I've done with every other variation of brace that I've tried before. After 7 days of wearing this nightly, I've noticed much less heel pain in the morning. Combined with gastroc stretches, I'm walking and moving much more comfortably than I was before. I call that a win.

Not working as expected
UPDATE: I provided a review like the seller asked based on the comfort of this splint. However, after using the product now for several weeks I have come to the conclusion that while it’s comfortable it’s not resolving my issue. If I make it tighter so that it stretches my foot the Velcro rubs against my ankle. The toe portion is also a bit difficult to get to the correct size to make it work. Then the tension strap in the very front does not allow for enough tension to actually help with pulling the foot up which is what’s needed. There should be more Velcro on that piece to allow better adjustments. So for now I’m searching for another splint to try. I’ve had heel pain for several months now. Dr said to choose a night splint and I of course came to Amazon. Once I got it attached to my foot it’s very comfortable. I was afraid it may be too tight and constantly stretching my foot but it’s not. I have been wearing it to test before bed to see how difficult sleep will be and no issue at all. Happy I made this choice.

Great for plantar fasciitis!
After being almost unable to walk in the mornings when getting out of bed, my sister suggested a boot of sorts to wear at night. I found this boot and liked that it was more of a flexible material than a rigid plastic. My first impressions were it was intuitive to use and was very comfortable while I slept. After using it for close to a month now, along with the little therapy roller ball it came with, my plantar fasciitis has drastically improved. I can get out of bed and walk with far less discomfort and I find myself limping less towards the end of the day. I highly recommend this boot in addition to roller therapy for your foot. Big difference maker!

The concept is great, the execution not so much.
When it works, it really seems to alleviate the morning pain associated with a ruptured plantar fascia. The problem is that it doesn't work well all the time. The issues are a) the metal insert is too pliable. Instead of keeping my foot at a right angle to my leg at night, by the morning it has bent to allow my foot to drop; b) the part that wraps around my ankle is fastened with Velcro. Over time the Velcro has become unable to hold the device in place. Several mornings I've wakened with the wrap undone and the device just hanging loosely; c) the Velcro strap in front that is supposed to pull your toes to your ankle also tends to come loose during the night. All three of these issues cause the device to be unable to keep my foot at a right angle to my leg. It allows my foot to droop, which is what it is supposed to prevent. It does work sometimes, however, hence the three stars. I should note that the ball works well and the two arch supports have been very helpful, providing support when I'm wearing my orthotic boot, which has no arch support.

It helps
It took me forever to figure out how to put this on. The directions aren’t very helpful. Once I did that, it’s simple. Directions say to increase the time you wear it each night by an hour but my doctor told me to wear all night from the beginning. It’s difficult to walk in so if you get up during the night you either have to take it off and put back or hobble to the bathroom and back. I chose to keep it on. For all my gripes, I think it does help with the pain so I would recommend it.

Seems to be working…
I have been experiencing plantar fasciitis for more than three months. I have been using this every night and wake up feeling no pain or tightness. It took some time to get used to sleeping with it, but it is well worth it. It is quite self-explanatory as far as putting it on. I would recommend you follow the advice in directions and slowly add time to wearing it. Overall, the brace is great and does what it's supposed to do. I also like that it comes with the massaging spiked ball for the bottom of the foot and a handy carrying bag
