I started using these instead of the tiny elastic hair ties that would get stuck in my hair and cause a lot of breakage. These are super soft and gentle, and while you can definitely get them stuck in your hair if you try hard enough, they're usually good at keeping my hair in place without causing breakage. They're obviously not quite as discreet as the tiny elastics, but for the hairstyles I do that isn't an issue!

I was looking for smaller hair ties as I only have longer hair on the top 3rd of my head, but I also didn't want to use rubber bands or anything else that's rough on the hair. These are PERFECT! They are gentle on the hair, and I can use 1 for up to a week before having to use a new one (because they're nylon, they do stretch out gradually). These are a great value and I would highly recommend them!

I have had a pony tail going on 30 years and have always bought hair ties at the grocery store. Last time my wife went shopping she picked up some hair ties and I complained they were too big. You would think after 30 years she would know, lol. Anyway, unbeknownst to me, she ordered these. I have to say these are hands down the best hair ties I have ever used. I love the smaller size and the material is so soft but does a great job holding my hair in place. This is now the only hair tie I will use.

These are great for thin hair.

I love to wear bubble braids like this and the rubber ones are always popping on me throughout the day so these are perfect for the small partings but are reliable so my styles can last all day long! I don’t have thick hair so these are perfect and it fits right on my thumb as opposed to a wrist when I need to take one with me.

These went on to my daughers hair great. But when it was time to take it out, they got tangled around her hair. I had to cut most of them out. It may be because my daughters hair is more on the coarse side but I don't see it working well for babies with her type of hair.
