Awesome customer service
I love my cutting boards!! I purchased both the 18x18 and the 8x8 boards and they were exactly as described. Before my boards arrived, I received an email explaining how to care for the boards, what to do if there is a manufacture ‘smell’, and contact information if I had any questions or problems. It made me feel that my purchase was important and I was a valued customer. The boards work beautifully and have reduced the need for awkward positioning. The grid ensure that everything is lined up perfectly. I am so pleased. I don’t know if this company sales additional products, but if they do and I am in the market, I would definitely choose Calibre Art because of that ‘extra effort’. Thank you for making me feel like a valued customer.

Great Price for Product
I must admit that I have only had my cutting mats for a week (I purchased the 8" square and the 18" square.) . So far so good. The surface of the mats is really wonderful and heals quickly. As far as I can tell, the rotating part does not detach from the base; I like this feature. If I find I am incorrect, I'll amend this review. Also, the mat turns just a tad more stiffly than my Martelli round mat (but I don't really like the surface of my Martelli rotating mat) and my 8" Fiskar's mat. The Fiskar's mat does not heal well, so I really like my new rotating mats much, much better. The square 18" mat is really great for large squares that my Martelli cannot handle, another plus. Also, the bases of the mats are solid and stay put when rotating and the mats are nice and sturdy, not at all flimsy. Finally, the price is quite good especially compared to Olfa, Martelli, and Fiskars.

Surface a little slippery
I have another well-known brand rotating mat in a larger size and this one turns much more easily and stays together better (the top doesn't pop off the base like the other one can). The lines are easy to read and it's a handy size. I took a star off because the surface is pretty hard and a little slippery. I like the surface to have a little more grip so the fabric stays put; I have to push down really hard on the ruler to keep the fabric from sliding on the mat. My husband has suggested I give it a once-over with a medium grit sandpaper, which sounds like it would help but I'm afraid to try it. I'll update this review if I ever get brave enough to try that.

perfect
purchased to cut and trim quilting pieces, and will use soon for an English paper piecing project. it's just the right size, no odors, and turns easily and quietly.

Rotating mat with 17" of practical cutting area
This mat is well made. With 17" of practical usable mat, it is good for cutting up to 16.5" blocks. It is too large for small blocks like 2.5" hst's. For that I would recommend the 7" if you want one that spins.Storage can be an issue. It's not delicate but it does sit higher than my other mats and it doesn't feel safe to store it on its side. But it's a very nice material and the lazy susan can be useful.

It is wonderful. Makes those 1/2 square triangles fun and accurate
Should have found this years ago. It is wonderful. Makes those 1/2 square triangles fun and accurate. The size works well in my small sewing space and the turn mechanism is very smooth. I will be watching for other products by this company.

It Is What It Says It Is
As the name implies, this cutting mat heals well, and the markings seem to be accurate. However, it does not rotate smoothly, and it is definitely not odorless! The label says the mat is without "toxic, 'dead skunk' smell," which is true. Not a skunk, but the mat smells like a dead animal of some kind. In fact, I wanted to return it. But, because my printer isn't working to print the return label, my only other choice was to drop it off at an Amazon locker site. Well, I don't know if Amazon is aware, but there's a pandemic raging. Going to a mall during a pandemic to return a cutting mat seems like a really stupid thing to do, so I'm stuck with the stinky mat.

VERY SMALL!
The border around the 7" square is VERY narrow! If you go to cut a 7" square, you have very little wiggle room to position fabric before you fall off the edge. More than once I almost cut a finger because of the tiny amount of border space for the rotary cutter to go on. When you cut some pieces you need to go beyond the measurement and this doesn't allow you to do this if you're cutting a square larger than 6", maybe 6 1/2" inch. The rotating part works well but I don't know if I would have bought this tiny mat if I had seen it in person first.
