This stuff sticks really well.

I did not use this for its intended automotive purpose, but it ended up working great for a problem spot on a high-traffic back door at my house. For whatever reason, the paint kept wearing off on the edge of the door where everyone grabs it to open and close it. Nobody seems to use the handle in my house, so I wanted something that would protect that area and still look clean. I removed the lock and handle, applied about 18 inches of this material down the side of the door, used a little heat, and made sure the surface was prepped well first. It laid down smoothly and looked nice once installed. It did exactly what I was hoping for by creating a protective area where hands constantly grab the door. The material feels like a good balance too — not overly thick, but also not rough or abrasive on your fingers. Another plus is that the roll included enough material that I should be able to replace it later if needed or use the rest for other projects around the house or garage. Honestly, I may still use some on my old work truck for its intended purpose just because it seems like a handy product to keep around. If it holds up well over time, I will come back and update with a longer-term review, but so far I am very pleased with it. Used it on my Ram to cover up some existing scratches and prevent more. Easy to work with. Seems plenty sticky, but i just put them on so i can't tell how it will hold up to cold/heat and water. Used some blue painters tape, established the pattern and cut them out. Pretty forgiving as far as lining it up, slightly touching the car and then pulling back up to reposition as long as you dont press down. Has a clear backing to peel off. It's not sandpaper or extremely rough. I wouldn't use it to prevent slipping in wet conditions, but for the door sill its a perfect texture. Plenty of length to do 2 strips on each door of Ram quad cab. Hopefully it lasts!!

Looks good and not too hard to apply. The sticky part needs to be better.

Product was received on time and packaged appropriately. The product does shape well with applied heat from heat gun. This was put on a brand new vehicle after the surface was 4x prep solvent cleaned and the adhesion is moderate at best. Based on the lack of proper adhesion, I'd not purchase this product again.

I really like this product. I installed the clear on the front and rear door sills of my truck (white painted surface). Color of the paint shows through so they are less noticeable. Plenty on the roll to do all 4 door sills and still have about 5 feet left over. Sticks well. Cleaned suface with 70% isopropyl alcohol prior to installation.

I purchased the Automotive Door Entry Guard Reflective Sill Protector Car Scratch Protector Film, and I couldn't be more disappointed. First of all, the title of this product on Amazon is completely misleading. It claims to be "reflective," but there's absolutely no reflection whatsoever it’s just flat black. Moreover, the product fails miserably in adhering to textured plastic surfaces. Not all vehicles have metal entry points/door sill, and the instructions, as well as other customer questions, falsely claim that it sticks to plastic. In my case, it simply didn't adhere to plastic at all. I even tried a small 1-inch test piece, and it peeled off within 5-6 hours. The quality of the adhesive used in this product is very bad. It's incredibly inferior and doesn't stick to various surfaces as advertised. It seems like this protector will only work on perfectly smooth painted metal surfaces, making it useless for those with plastic or textured auto entry door points. I'm frustrated with the lack of proper instructions and the waste of my time and money on this product. This marks the third item I've had to return to Amazon in search of a reliable solution for protecting my plastic textured surface. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this product if you want to stick it on plastic door sills

Es bueno, se mantiene en su lugar, lo coloque donde pega el sol y ya llevan asi 2 meses y sigue igual de resistencia

I didn’t think this would be very good but am supposed as it sticks very well and is able to bend well and is thick enough to Protect wel.
