Useful, in-depth and engaging, but with some inaccuracies
This book is really good to learn good communication with people, going in-depth and providing good examples for clarity. It speaks about getting to know yourself and bringing yourself to your interactions, tailored to who you're introducing yourself to if necessary. It provides strategies, key points and anecdotes to support the teachings. I do highly recommend it if, like me, you do struggle to communicate well with people, especially if you work in a customer service role. However, the book has obviously not been proofread at any point, making the fact that it is independently published obvious. There are several minor errors littered throughout the book: an extra word left where the sentence had been edited, the wrong choice of word like "they'll" when it should be "there'll". In addition, the author seems to think there are over 9 billion people living on the planet. It means that I occasionally have to rewrite the sentence in my head so it makes sense. If the book were properly proofread and these errors resolved, it would be 5 stars.
