This is the best shampoo if you have dry and itchy scalp. There are a lot of product out there that claim to help, but they exfoliate an already dry scalp which is precisely what you don’t want. This one hydrates and soothes your scalp and cleans the hair at the same time. You don’t need a lot of product, just a bit will go a long way.

I’m so picky with hair products and am really happy with this shampoo and conditioner. Here are some details: 1. This really does help soothe my scalp and prevent dandruff and take away itchiness that I get only in the winter from dryness. 2. I think it smells great - it has a nice fresh scent that lingers in my hair. 3. This leaves my long, medium density hair really shiny and bouncy. I always have great hair days after using this duo. 4. Some shampoos and especially conditioners can leave my hair looking stringy or greasy quickly - this one doesn’t. 5. This is a nice big size and price point/affordable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to help with an itchy or dry scalp and to prevent dandruff.

The product is working great so far! So much less itching and dandruff and only 2 washes so far.

This shampoos actually workers better on my dry, flaky scalp than traditional Head & Shoulders. I felt and saw the difference after the first couple of times using it. While it worked for me, it did NOT work for my daughter (dry scalp, oily hair). She had an immediate reaction to the shampoo- burning around her scalp and wherever it ran down on to her face. She has used H&S, Nizoral, and even prescription shampoos with no problem but the Dove gave her an allergic reaction. Please do a patch test first.

I'm not a fan of Dove hair products but decided to try this shampoo and conditioner for my dry, itchy scalp. I was shocked at how good these products are! They made my dry and damaged hair feel soft and silky and actually seemed to add some frizz control. They are so good that they are better than some of my very expensive shampoos and conditioners. I would use these products even if I didn't have a dry, itchy scalp. The scent is nice and not overpowering. My only complaint is that I cannot find these products in ANY brick-and-mortar stores, but as long as they are available online, I'm good. I cannot recommend this shampoo and conditioner enough!

My scalp became extremely itchy and dry from the change in weather and needed something quick that I could try to relieve the symptoms. My scalp immediately felt better after I finished using the shampoo and conditioner. They worked wonderfully for me. I love Dove products in general and am happy to know that these didn’t disappoint. I loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioner, however, the scents from both could easily be overwhelming for some people, so be aware of that when trying these products. I took away a star because of the packaging. The shampoo leaked during transit. There needs to be a plastic protective cap that requires breaking (think of a water bottle cap) so that the bottle can’t be accidentally opened when in transit, or some alternative method.
