THEY WORK! Like Overgrown Vitamin Moisture Packs
A month ago I never would've guessed the answer to my cars' inside window fogging problems could be as simple as a giant version of the same thing I've seen inside supplement bottles for my entire lifetime. Now I am a believer, and that's thanks to these WiseDry 500g desiccant packs! They worked for me exactly as advertised, including the recharge procedures. I purchased 8 packs and stuck 4 inside each of my problem children (vehicles, that is). The benefits played out over several days. I did need to wet vac out the pooled water in one of them to get maximum benefits from the packs. But the result over 4 weeks of constant usage is obvious--highly reduced condensation on the inside back and front windows of the two cars! In a wild, woolly, WET Pacific NW winter, that is an AMAZING result! I did discover the microwave is not a very efficient way to recharge all 8 even 2 at a time. It took these packs about 5 days to suck up enough moisture to go "full bloated" (650g weight or more) and following the instructions it would've taken a couple hours all told to get all back down to 505g +/- new weight. And that process pretty much required constant attention. I was actually concerned about the workout it gave my microwave, which isn't used to more than 20 or so minutes of use at a time. So I tried the oven method and was more satisfied using that for these packs. Keeping the oven temp below 300F it still took 6 1/2 hours to get all 8 packs down to recharged weight, but it was a completely hands off process. I don't have an easy way of measuring the energy use of my oven, but I wouldn't be surprised if cost was a wash due to the lower KW needed by a 240V appliance to provide same amount of heat as a 120V unit. That's physics so not gonna go there. Anyway, these packs fared well in the oven so that's likely how I'll generally recharge them. All told I'm giving them 5 stars and gonna keep them in mind for ALL my moisture-related problems henceforth. One note about oven recharging: I'm cheap so I order some less expensive versions of these 500g desiccant packs after seeing the results of the WD's--the white ones that look almost exactly like an overblown version of a vitamin pack, in every way, including seam sealing. Whereas the WD's are tubular construction with just very serious heat fused seams on the top and bottom, the cheaper packs have seams on all sides that did look less, shall I say, "sincere." I allowed them that slack since they were, in fact, cheaper and still claimed to be oven-chargeable. sWell don't you believe it!! Of the 6 of those packs I oven-recharged same as the WD's, 4 split their seams and spilled the beads! Would've been a much bigger mess had I not had a baking sheet below them to prevent direct heat from the oven elements. Oven temps were never about 300F but I believe should be kept to a limit of 250F for these packs. Then they seemed fine, but time of recharge would go up as much as several hours. I have yet to try that again--getting my courage back up...

They work well
This is very simple product so there is not a lot to say about them. They come sealed and dry so they can be used right away. Once they have absorbed moisture they change color so you know when the need to be dried. There are several options for dying them out that are easy and relatively quick. Good value for the money.

Work just fine.
I use these to keep things in my boat dry. Seem to work great and I haven’t noticed a smell.

Flawed, but very useful for me
It works well. I've only recharged these once so far, but they've (mostly) successfully kept my car windows getting fogged up while I'm at work. Prior to getting these, my car's windshield would be opaque and take a few minutes to defog. However, there are some things about this I don't like, or find odd: - They don't take long to change colors. I'm using these in my car, so it almost certainly absorbs a lot more moisture than if this was placed in a closet, and I live in a very rainy place. Not a huge issue, except for the second thing I've noticed. - The green color isn't nearly as vibrant as the colors on the marketing images. It's a dark green, with some blue or black mixed in, and only a few of the beads actually change colors. I noticed the green beads after a few days of use, but kept using them for a few weeks, waiting for that vibrant green to indicate that they need to be recharged. It never came. - The recharging instructions on the bags are misleading and potentially dangerous. If you go to the website listed on the bag, they say you shouldn't heat the bag in the microwave for more than a minute or two at a time. Total should be 6 minutes, let it cool, then another 6 minutes, but it should be done in smaller bursts of heat instead of a straight six minutes to prevent overheating. Don't blindly do what the bad says, go check out the website. I'd probably buy these again since they've proven to be useful for me. I'd recommend others to get them to, but I'd also emphasize the arguably misleading recharge instructions.

Quality product but disappointed
Edit: Seller reached out to me and gave a solution to my problem. Great support and again the product is great quality. Just was inconvenient for my usage at the time. Changed rating to a five star. It's a good heavy weight and amount. But there is no way to tell if it's full without weighing it on a scale. How many people actually have scales in their kitchen? Not me. There is no window on the side to tell color change when full. I prefer a white or clearer bag with a bead that changes color when full or dry. This you cannot tell without weighing it which is impossible without buying a scale for another $20. Not worth it. Again good quality bag but I'll look for a bag with a window next time.

Works well with Bamboo Lab 3D Printer AMS
We have a Bamboo Lab 3D printer. With the cooler weather our AC hasn’t been running which allows the humidity levels in our home to rise. We found the printer was having a few issues printing due to the filaments in the automatic material system (AMS) being exposed to the higher humidity. I have some 100 gram bags for my tools, but they were too big for the AMS, so I ordered the 50 gram bags. I was able to fit one of these bags between each of the filament feed tubes in the front of the AMS, three bags total. The humidity problem has been solved and the printer is again working as expected.

Silica Gel Packs Recharged my headlamps on my car.
5 Gram [60 Packs] Food Grade Silica Gel Packs Recharge are an excellent product @ a very reasonable price. I can now see in front of me because the gel packs eliminated moisture in my headlamps. Extremely functional.

Pros Keeps things dry, Works well for shoes, food containers, and small storage boxes. Reusable with color indicator, Orange beads show when the sachet is full of moisture; can be reactivated in a microwave or oven. Good value – Comes in packs of 30, plenty for multiple uses around the house. Cons Microwave reactivation needs care – Steam can be tricky; follow instructions closely. Color indicator isn’t perfect – Gives a good hint but might not be 100% precise.

I have ordered 2 diverent packs, one of 4 and one of 6. I will use them for my filament storage bags, and these are reusable too. I choosed the reusable packets because throwing them away isn't good.

Fantastico, una sacchetto messo sulla bilancia passa da 10 a 13 g quando ha assorbito umidità, segno che è da rigenerare nel microonde. Perfetti dentro le scatole delle scarpe.

good product, does the job.

I got these for a research laboratory because the lab suppliers charge a lot for desiccant... this one is working fine, been in use about two years now and its keeping our acetylcholine desiccated.
