Can I use this cord to power my power conditioner?

I replaced my Denon AVR-X6700H power cord and replaced my EMOTIVA amp power cords with this power cord. All work with the 15 amp 125 watt rating.

where can Ipurchase this with a UK 220v mains plug?

The cable should work for 220v, but it's not equipped with a UK plug. I would request a UK plug and see what their reply is.

Is it possible to replace a cheao fixed stock ac power cable on an old power amp with the connection required to use this high end waudio ac cable?

Yes. They do make a cable that's open ended. You would have to wire it in.

Is this shield foil and braid? what shielding is employed because the image shows only a 50% braid.
