ValentinA Salsa Picante Mexican Hot Sauce - 12.5oz. (Pack of 2)

I discovered this hot sauce at Mi Mexico. It was the sauce they had on the table. I tried some, when I was bored, and almost out of chips. My first impression was apprehension, since the smooth chili flavor gave way to a warm smoky sensation, as it went down. I was bracing for it to snap into a throat fire. Nope. Robust chili flavor, followed by a warm smoky mouth hug. It was... pleasant. I had more. Then I poured some onto my hand, and had it straight. I glanced, eyes wide, across the table to the Mrs and said "damn. I just found my favorite hot sauce." I have had Frank's, Cholula, Tapatio, Sriracha, that vinegar Louisiana sauce - Valentina beats them all, with one hand tied down. It's not vinegary, it's fairly thick, and the versatile chili profile works for tacos, chips, eggs, Mac and cheese, nachos, and mixed into nacho cheese. If we ranked the hotness from Tabasco 1 to Ghost pepper 10, it would be a pleasant 3.5 or 4, but the profile is more appealing to more folks without the acid. Valentina is the best hot sauce I have ever had. While I say at the table, I ordered my first bottle. I used it up in 2 months. I kept it in my work lunch box. Then I bought a 2 pack. The first one is half gone. I have ever used this much hot sauce in my life. I'm not surprised though, since it's from Jalisco, home of tequila - my favorite adult beverage. I cannot recommend this sauce as much as it deserves. Just try it once. You'll love it. I promise.

This was my go to sauce for years but I can't find t where I live currently, so ordering it is the next best thing. It came quickly and without issue.

One bottle for me, one for my son. We both agree the best hot sauce we have. Excellent flavor to go with the heat. What's the old saying. "Try it, you'll like it!"?

One of my favorite hot sauces. Bought at Amazon because I was having trouble finding it at the stores. And then of course as soon as I got it from Amazon I found it at the store for substantially less.

I first tasted this sauce while traveling in Jackson, Mississippi of all places. I fell in love with it and placed an order while I was still in the restaurant. It's SO flavorful and not so hot that it just leaves me with a burning mouth. The only two suggestions I have for improvement are 1) the labels were either peeling-off or damaged by the way the bottles were wrapped in sticky bubble-wrap. 2) these bottles are NOT single-serving and but the lids are hard to keep clean. It would be nice if the lids could unscrew so they could be removed and cleaned.
