Easy to use
These are easy to use and seem sturdy. They take a little while to compress, but require less force with each stroke than the once and done kind. Good for anyone that needs to swag bigger cables but doesn’t have a lot of upper body strength.

Working great so far
I've made about 250 swage crimps for wire railings so far with this tool. It has performed with no issues. I still have another 250 or so to go.My only real complaint is that I wish the handles were slightly longer to give a little more leverage. I have issues with strength in my left arm and it's hard for me to get enough pressure to complete the crimp unless I am in just the right position. I end up having to contort into weird positions to allow using the tool against my leg or to get in a position where I can work from a comfortable angle. If I had "normal" strength in both arms I'd probably be ok, but be aware it does take considerable force to complete a crimp.I've only used the 10ga die so far. It is showing signs of wear but is still working fine. Note that the dies are not symmetrical, so if the cutouts don't like up, flip one of them 180 degrees. You do have to be careful to make sure the dies are lined up when making the crimp. Of the 250 crimps I made, I only had one that came out kinda sloppy, and I think it was my fault for not having it lined up right.I bought this tool specifically for this one job, but if things continue the way they have been going, I think it will last through many jobs in the future. Seems like it was a great deal for the price.

Works well
I am using this tool for swaging 3/16 SS wire rope. It works well and provides a good crimp with minimal effort. The additional dies provide a lot of options for future use. It's a good value.

The hydraulics work well. Forget the cutters, they're a joke.
Ignore the reviews about improper alignment. Cheap tools are cheap because they ARE NOT MACHINED, AND IF THEY ARE THEY ARE NOT MACHINED TO TIGHT TOLERANCES.These dies are not machined, they are cast. They DO need to be properly aligned when using, as with any cheap press. If you can't get them close enough, flip one of the dies around. They're not perfectly centered, or even straight.Once you figure that out, THIS PRESS WORKS VERY WELL.Can't say that about the cutters, they only open 1/4". I had some nice ones that fit perfect in their spot in the case - almost like the designer planned ahead on that one.If the fluid is not leaking, and the press moves, you've got a good one - you just need to figure out how to use it.If you're still not happy with the result you need to step up your game and go name brand. Try OTC, they might make a more cost friendly version than snap-on.

Good Tool but Low-Quality Parts
The hydraulic crimper has handled small jobs well enough, but the interchangeable fittings are soft to the point where they're now useless garbage, and after only ~50 crimpings. Same goes for the cutters which are already dull to the point of uselessness making the kit itself basically useless since the crimper is of no utility without fittings or a capable set of cable cutters.

Good Tool for Quick Work
Works just like advertised. Not sold on the durability of the dies, but they do work well. The pressure isn't as strong as I thought it would be, but it works well with aluminum and zinc coated material. It is a bit tricky to use by yourself. You have to hold the ferrule and wire with one hand while trying to line it up in the die at the same time. Then hopefully you can squeeze the handle enough to remove your hand from the cable to hold the crimper.
