Being a voracious reader of mostly fiction, there was an apprehension when I picked this book. Ofcourse, curiosity about a book authored by your ex-manager was another incentive. The subject though complex is presented in a simple premise. This book takes you on an enigmatic journey looked at from 2 perspectives (an adult as well as a curious mind of a child). Simplified language without confusing jargon makes this easy to read, understand and assimilate. Great job by the author. Interlacing one's own travel experiences and weaving it with facts in a fictional storyline is commendable. Looking forward to the next book Sourabh. (PS)

I came to know about this book, Time Travel, from a couple of senior colleagues who read it in the vacations. I soon realized why this is such a highly recommended book. I have finished 3/4th of it already.It is a fictional journey of 30 days, the author is able to provide a real travel experience to some of the most interesting yet least visited places on earth. And a story of humans, for millions of years is very gripping.There are parts of Indian civilization that we had forgotten and the book brings them to life. This journey of Maya and her dad and hearing stories from them has filled a large gap in my knowledge about our own past.Every storyteller and reader needs to go through this marvelous adventure and share the stories with everyone young and old.Can't wait to finish the journey with Maya and her Dad and find my own place in the Universe.

As a person who is not very fond of history, this book came with a promise of making me change my opinion.And it didnt disappoint. Though its a book that takes us backward in time, every page made me look forward to the next. A gripping and fun filled read, something that I never thought I'd say about history.The effort and energy that Sourabh De has put into collecting the facts is seen in every chapter.Keep writing Sourabh De, a lot of us are looking forward to the next book from you.

Sourabh has presented a narration that echoes with the thoughts of us all who wonder at least once in our lives about our lineage...It is a very good introduction to anyone wanting to get a peek into our place in this millennia...Warm wishes to Sourabh for his future endeavours...

A good read after a long time...the journey to the prehistoric time comes alive ...well woven in a beautiful exploration story of daughter and father to trace back our ancestory..makes you think our lifetime is just a blip in the vastness of the history of this planet that we call home..but each of our lifetime has contributed to the evolution from the first mammal that walked this planet to us and what we may evolve to in the far future.. thought provoking..highly recommended.

In our Helter-skelter lifestyle, where we just keep thinking how present generation is disconnected from our origin, history, culture and lost in the world of internet, This book is like a small Bible of history which actually taking my daughter to a time machine tour..great to have this book and full of knowledge, amazing facts..Special thanks from my daughter

Excellent book, well-written, thought out and following the simple questions which lead one forward to finding the truth, instead of finding those 'truths' which fit into one's perceived pigeon hole. Such a variety of 'expertise' in putting together a whole from all the parts which most of us don't really see, and some don't even want to know. Kudos to Sourabh on inspiring me to get off my butt and continue reading as i had once done, and to use my grey cells to understand this world in a better light. Thanks Sourabh.
