Q: Can this be used on a 2017 ford mustang to bypass the amp connecting the speaker wires directly to a audio control line out convertor?

Not unless you want to cut up the harness. If you have the factory head unit then get the meastro rr to go with it or cut between the factory amp and speakers and then run wires to the audio control unit of choice as lon as the unit accepts high level inputs you are fine

It should yes mine is a17 Sony system
