Roping is very high quality and is very unlikely to fray and could hold very large weight.The stitching on the leather secures on the other hand have a little too much play. They're string enough to control my gsd, but unlikely to last a long time without separating.

Used this to help train my 80 lb learn to walk better on leash. It’s very sturdy, good quality, handle is comfy and large enough to slip on over wrist, but it is a bit bulky. If you want the clip part to stay high on the neck (e.g. while training) it’s a little heavy for that. But otherwise if your dog is already a decent walker it’s fine.

It's made really well and looks really nice. Love the reflective stitching. My dog is 90lbs. This size lead works well for dogs size medium and up. It won't fit a chihuahua or other toy breed.

My husband and I both have arthritis in our hands. It can be a challenge to clip a leash onto a wiggly 50 pound puppy. Slipping this on to go out for business is much easier.

I use slip leads on my foster dogs, to handle dogs at adoption events, and to catch strays. This is a very high quality slip lead. It will get lots of use. I highly recommend it. No need to spend a lot of money on other brands.

I bought the leash after viewing a training video but the leash does not stay up around the head no matter how I held it. Save your money.
