This is such a versatile lid: I use it for covering baked goods decoratively, and also in the microwave to prevent messes. It’s very easy to wash clean, even with tomato sauce splatters. I’ve had it over a year and have had no concerns about durability or quality. The silicone handle is comfortable and stays cool in the microwave. And I feel much better using this in the microwave, rather than a plastic cover!

It has held up so far. Definitely recommend!

Wish it had a hole or slit to let the moisture evaporate so it doesn't drip all over the microwave door when you pull the lid off and out of the microwave. Also the handle is too small and needs to be larger so you don't touch the glass which is very hot!!

Works well

Wife dropped the last one one the floor and broke it. We like it because it is glass and not plastic. Works great for plates and for most bowls. If the bowl is full the food touches the cover. If you microwave the food for a while the glass will be hot to the touch so use the handle, be careful of the steam. Dishwasher safe so far, the handle is glued on hopefully it last.

It appears to be good quality. The handle seems to be attached well and I like the way it is made. The height is great. As stated, it is designed to sit on a standard plate, but it also works well to sit over a bowl or other containers. Hard to rate durability that well when something is made of glass, but it looks like this thing will take some knocks. Due to the type of glass it is very light which is good. It is much easier for my wife to handle with arthritic hands.

I try not to use the microwave often and cook instead of being lazy. But sometimes I reheat unfinished coffee in there. My mug is 6oz and short; smaller than most people' mugs for sure. But the 4" glass cover which is marketed as tall, couldn't fit. I can't find a taller one, I need at least 5 cm more. Not sure if I should return. The issue is when placing the glassLid on top, the weight is wonky as it lays on top of the mug - but with a plastic lid at least you can have it covering on an angle.

I like the size and the weight is light. It looks nice. I wish the handle is more secured. I hope the silicone handle will last long time because it feels flimsy. Other than that I still give it 5 star cuz it's glass.
