Definitely not submersible.
This mouse emits a squeaking sound when it is knocked, but does little else. It seems designed to lie on its side, rather than on four feet like a normal mouse. I think it was rather expensive for what it does. It seems reasonably durable, considering that the first thing my cat did with it was to pick it up and drop it in his water bowl. It started to work again after it eventually dried out. One negative is the fact that it doesn't seem possible to change the battery/batteries. My cat seems to enjoy battering the hell out of it.

Great for the cat, not my ears
My 5 month old kitten LOVES this so much! We have had to start hiding it at night as she started to realise she could run up the stairs with it and terrorise me at 3am. This toy is honestly annoying but my cat loves it so much I’m considering buying the whole range (I’m a sucker)

Sweet little cat toy
Sweet little cat toy, my cat ignores it though.

Cat does not like it
My cat is always sat chattering at birds and will attempt to chase them, (with not much luck) so I thought I would buy this bird thinking she would love the size, the feathers and the bird sound it makes. She hates it, won't play with it at all, if I put it on her wand stick toy and make it appear to be flying she walks off.
