Cute Parrot! Adorable in my Garden
I love my Parrot Baby & he is the perfect companion to my Parrot on a Bike. That being said, I only gave it 3/5 stars! My reasoning is because of several things. The entire spinner bird & pole together is only 17" I thought the mounting pole was 17" & then put part of that pole into the ground & it barely cleared my garden border plantings.#2 - It would have been nice if they also included the ground stake that is included with the larger spinners for both support & easier removal when I bring them in when the landscaper comes or we have a wind storm.Other then that, it is a quality product!***Now for the fix, to save you all time & money!!***I needed to make this guy higher so here's how I did that.First - the mounting pole is hollow, but a very small opening. After experimenting with several things from the hardware store & not judging the size of the opening properly as I should have brought the pole with me, this is what worked for me.You need black electrically tape, a black straw, a green METAL garden stake, ( get as tall as you like, I got the one with the loop as I didn't see straight ones. My husband used a power hack saw & cut off the loop for me)I inserted the green garden stake into the mounting pole to my desired height. Taped the pole & stake together to secure. Then I covered the green metal with a black straw, to give the stake the appearance of the same thickness & taped that down to the level of where I will put the green stake into the ground. This worked well & I will do the same if I purchase other similar products.I also have not had a problem with the wings turning, but I do see how this could occur, which could be simply fixed in the future by either the manufacturer or consumer by adding a washer in front of the wing gear. One more thing!!The manufacturers assembly directions recommend gluing the wings into the gears - My Suggestion - assemble the wings WIthout gluing first, till its set up in the angle you want -THEN carefully glue each into position!I found that a good breeze can make those wings pop out & then you'll be searching the lawn for them! Or in my case, one blew across my yard under my neighbors car & on the other side of her driveway!!Do it! You don't want a bird with no wings!!3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the amount of extra work I had to do before being able to use it!!!Otherwise very cute!

Polly Wants Not To Be A Slacker! She Spins Like A Champ.
I wish I could give a rating of 4.5 stars for this. It is super cute, the colors are vibrant & the fabric is sewn together (instead of glued). Even if it only lasts through one growing season, it's a bargain compared to the cost of a floral hanging basket to supply color in my planting beds. It spins really well; even a slight breeze can get the wings moving. I cannot in good conscience award it 5 stars though because putting the pegs of the individual wings into the tiny holes was such a pain in the ... (you know where). Additionally, the maker suggested they be glued into place to insure they remained attached in high winds. In trying to accomplish this, I ended up with gorilla glue all over my fingers. That stuff does NOT wash off, in fact water helps "cure" the adhesive. Even paint thinner wouldn't get it off. I had to just let it wear off (with me picking at it almost non-stop) over the next few days since I had made the decision to work without gloves. Happily, I can report that the glue is doing its job at keeping the wings attached through a couple of severe storms with drenching downpours & heavy winds.

a cute a colorful wind spinner
Very colorful and spins with the least amount of wind. The plastic part that connects to the pole had to be sanded down to allow the entire bird to spin around, not just the wings. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Sanding down the little plastic part was not difficult or too time-consuming, just a little annoying.

Not effortless.
Bright colors, easy to assemble. But a strong breeze dislodges the wings and we have to hunt all over the yard for them. And when it’s fully assembled, the tip of a wing sticks out a little too, much and it won’t spin.

Love our Bird!
We always have a bird "flying" from our deck on the water. I can only use 2 wings because they turn so easily and using all four lifts it off its perch. So happy to have one back in place- with our wind they wear out after a coupe of years. Please keep this simple bird available.

Well designed and sturdy windmill
4 stars because the blades can be a bit frustrating to install, but these are well made and start spinning in the lightest breeze
