As the socket on my van isn't angled, and is located in a stupid place, I wanted to avoid a straight plug that would have stuck out and would have been knocked.There's a similar 90 degree socket that also has a European bypass socket on the back, which I fancied... but that was a whopping £26... so cue this item... does a similar job for a 1/3 of the price!!!, so I've ordered 2... one for an on-site lead, another wired up to a 3pin plug for an "at home" hookup lead.They're easlier to wire than a uk house plug, and appear well built to IP44.
