Affordable, comfortable & durable logger boots for beginner/seasoned tree climbers.
The boot is awesome. I thought I was buying an off brand boot just to get by with not a lot of money to spend. But come to find it the boot is very comfortable. I wore the boots in my house for two days here and there “break them In” but it really wasn’t necessary. My feet weren’t destroyed and blistered after a long 8 hour shift. I’m an arborist climb trees for a livingI climb trees, so I am very active when it comes to wear and tear on boots. They are comfortable, durable, lightweight with great stitching & the heel is perfect height. Overall great boots. The only concern I have with this boot is that the sole stitching stops mid point on the boot. Which worries me about sticking the heel in tree crotches on a daily basis. I’m hoping the heel doesn’t flip off right away. I normally wear Carolinas and I still give these boots a 5/5.

Great every day boot
Some of the best boots I've ever owned! I'm always nervous buying wearables online, but I was in desperate need of a pair of boots a while back and ordered these. They are well constructed and sturdy. I've worn them 5 days a week for the last three years and only now are they starting to show signs of wear on the sole, and that's mostly because I have an awkward gait that eats away at the edges of my heels. the leather is high quality, and the stitching is still solid. There isnt much in the way of arch support, and they CAN make your feet a little sore after a long day, but a good set of gel insoles fixed that problem for meI have paid much more for much lower quality boots. These are worth every penny and more.

Good boot for the money
All in all good boot, bought about a year ago and they are holding up good , I got a 9 wide soft toe and they fit well , I will say that the sole insert is about as thick as a piece of paper so I recomend getting a good pair of work boot inserts (dr scholls or better), the heal isn’t leather like it looks it’s a hard plastic or composite materialOnce I put them in they were comfortable all day , they say water resistant but I would also treat them with some sort of water proofed or dubbing grease as out of the box if u stand in a puddle the insides do get damp , but agian great boot for the money I would buy agian

I love these boots they work well and seem to be ...
I tried a pair of Georgia 10m boots on at a store and they were roomy and so I ordered the AdTec's in 10M and they fit the same IMHO. I love these boots they work well and seem to be made well. I started climbing trees and after 10 minutes with my shoes in a steep crotch my foot was killing me, but with the boots on I feel no pain. The leather feels a little thin and is very pliable which I'm sure accounts for the fact that they didn't need breaking in from the start. I've spent the day in them with no blisters and thats with no inserts. I got a pair of Scholls gel work inserts and to be honest the inserts from the factory felt just as good to me. The Scholls inserts may be slightly more comfy. I'll try to add after 6 mo.s and we'll see if they hold up, but I'm retired and wearing these at work everyday is not happening. The lace hooks going down to the bend are GREAT as its MUCH EASIER to get the boots on without loosening the laces thru ALL THE EYELETS you normally get.I am rather shocked at so many people who apparently toss their $100 to $300 boots after 6 monthes instead of re-soleing them ( my son-in-law with $300 red wings)

Barely stiffer than a slipper
The shank and sole have no stiffness whatsoever, I can bend or twist them right over with my bare hands. This complete lack of foot support translates to a tremendous amount of stress and muscle effort for the feet on uneven terrain. I'm only 80kg (176lb) and my feet were absolutely exhausted after a few hours of planting work. I can't imagine doing a full day of work or carrying a backpack. In summary: Junk.

Great looking boot...but had to return.
First of all, boots are really nice looking...leather is great ,color is great, insole is thin and stiff (but easy fix with a $3 pair of foam dr.scholls) build quality looks great especially for $57.00.Boots are a little on the heavy side for my taste coming in at over 2 lbs.per boot,(but they are loggers) As far as sizing they are run a 1/2 size small.I purchased a beat up pair of these on ebay in my usual size 9 but they were a little small so went with a 9 1/2 M and they were perfect even had room for the foam insert so 1/2 size up is perfect. The problem I had with these boots was the rivet down at the bottom of the laces (just above the ad tec tag)was digging in to my foot, out of all the reviews (hundreds, including these, the steel toe,and the woman’s version) I couldn’t find a review with this issue so maybe it was just a defect, and also I don’t recall the rivet being a problem on my old beat up pair although couldn’t wear them due to being too small.adding the much needed foam insert raised my foot slightly and made it dig even more into my foot.Overall a great looking boot but the rivet issue was a deal breaker for me...had to return them for a refund.
