The most perfect book on space.
The special thing about this book is that you open any random page, it'll engage you in it... The language is so simple yet with everything explained in a very concise manner. You might assume you already know everything about black holes, time travel, warp drives, multiverses, types of civilizations, but once you read all about them in the book you'll get to know more and more about 'em and it's soo much interesting and engaging that you can never get bored of the information it has to offer. In the book, Michio Kaku explains well about everything... From the very beginning of the universe to the idea of creating an universe by yourself! The only problem about the book is that it has been published in 2006 so no mentions of the recent year discoveries such as the finding of The God particle, first ever quantum teleportation by the Chinese, image of the M87 black hole, the very first black hole to be captured in all of its glory. The cover quality could've been better, overall it's money well spent.

If you are fascinated by cosmology and physics relating to the cosmos this book is for you.
As those into the hard sciences know we have come a long way in the study of modern day physics and cosmology. What used to be considered science fiction and pseudoscience has become acceptable and valid scientific theories and hypothesis. The last six months I have been reading numerous books on physic, cosmology, time travel and related topics. I just finished this fascinating 436 page soft book (Parallel Worlds: The science of alternative universes and our future in the cosmos by Michio Kaku) and found it to be a delightful read.I had read sever previous books by this author so I was familiar with his work. This book explains in great detail the most recent developments in physics and cosmological theories. This easy to read book is organized into three parts:The first part (The Universe) covers baby pictures of the universe, the paradoxical universe, the big bang, and inflation and parallel universes. The second part (The multiverse) explores dimensional portals and time travel, parallel Quantum Universes, M-Theory, a designer universe, and searching for echoes from the eleventh dimension. The final part (Escape into hyperspace) focuses on the end of everything, escaping the universe and beyond the multiverse. If cosmology, physics and other universes fascinates you this is a book you should check out.Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Tactical Principles of the most effective Combative Systems).

One of my Top 5 books on this topic!
I would very highly recommend this book to whoever wants to know where we're at with cosmology because Michio is an incredible story teller and his explanations are easy to grasp and to the point. I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down! I also enjoying reading about his own views on the subject since he's very involved with strong theory. Wonderful work!
