Best book on making and maintaining relationships
This is a second read for me since my uni days, yet i found something new that I may forgot or may not found back then. Either because of different situations and circumstances, or maybe i just skim read back then.One thing i can takeaway from this book is that you make good relationship by being a good person in anyways possible. always stop your urge to do the natural thing people would do, but always do what’s good for you and your counterpart’s heart.Must read, and will re-read again one day.

My father and grandfather referred to this book and it's principles often and I now understand how they were both such beloved men. I hope to follow the advice in this book also. Should be required reading.

This timeless classic is a great read cover to cover or one chapter at a time. Every time I read a chapter I glen something new.

Amazing Methodology
If you want to learn how to understand the multifaceted perceptions of communication and understanding the underlying dynamics, this is the perfect read. Just graduated university with a Biochemistry and International Communications Degree; this book is an exceptional parallel that ties together all of the paradigms and principles that I’ve learned over the course of my studies.

Great book, got tired of all the examples.
It was good but section 4 became predictable and I often just skimmed for the good bits. Overall still a great book and have already found some results from applying the principles.

great book about how to effectively deal with people and change their minds
I really liked this book for its easy read, the clear examples and the excellent structure. Although the English is dated to the time, it made it all the more fun to read. I loved how the author illustrated his points and I could reflect in my own mind where using his examples worked and where not doing so didn’t. I highly recommend this book and promise that you will definitely get at least 3 major takeaways that you can use in your everyday dealings with people if not more!

One of the best books about succes!
Author had amazingly written everything to know about human psychology and how to win over every person and his/hers problem!

Great, classic read. The updated version still reads as outdated though.
I read the original version of this book 20 years ago and I wanted to re-read it, so I bought this edition that was updated in 2022. Overall, a great classic read, recommended for everyone.However, despite this 2022 update - the text still reads as quite outdated and the younger generation may not relate to its stories. For example - many stories refers to celebrities back in the 1920-50's that no one would recognize today. Much of the stories refers to the past US presidents - Coolidge, Rosevelt, McKinley which most of the generation today cannot relate to. Also - lots of references to business and industries that aren't the on the front mind of people today but was 2-3 generations ago (e.g. steel, railway, manufacturing industries). The diction and stories definetely feels dated and from many generations ago.Despite this, I would still recommend this a read to everyone, but bare in mind the text, stories and context is very dated, even with the 2022 update.

Kann man einiges von lernen.Leider wird nicht gegendert und viele Passagen sind nicht gender-neutral gehalten. Daher 1 Stern Abzug.

Maybe some good tips
Obviously high praised. Trying to show and teach with examples how to have compassion for others and try to view things from their side. Unfortunately for me, so many examples become boring quickly.
